  9. We are looking for a cleaner who has fantastic attention to detail to clean our two bedroom house in East Dulwich. Preferably this would be on a Friday afternoon but if not possible on Thursday afternoons. Recommendations gratefully received or if you are a cleaner please get in touch with your rates. Many thanks.
  10. I hired mine from the below. Great service and couldn't have done without it in labour. Good luck! http://www.birthease.co.uk/birthease_shop/Elle-TENs-Machine-Hire.shtml
  11. Have just seen this in the Family Room discussion section if you're open to looking elsewhere: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?25,1673675

  13. We're currently doing the Bump, Birth and Beyond classes with the brilliant and forward thinking Nicky Harris and would recommend it. The classes are midwife run which I don't believe NCT classes are (please correct me if I'm wrong) and social activities are encouraged. http://www.ariadnasole.com/ Another option, and to get a slightly different perspective, is a hypnobirthing course. We did a course with Hollie de Cruz at London Hypnobirthing but one of our sessions was run by Lizzie Hammond of Hammond Hypnobirthing and I would have no hesitation in recommending either of them. You also get to meet other couples on the course. I learnt an awful lot about labour on this course but the disadvantage is that you don't cover the post-natal stuff, hence why we are doing the Bump, Birth and Beyond class as well. http://www.londonhypnobirthing.co.uk/ http://www.hammondhypnobirthing.com/
  14. A friend just told me today about a sling library in Beckenham that she went to and found really helpful. They run advice sessions and you can also hire and buy slings. http://southlondonslings.co.uk/ Whoops, sorry, didn't see newtoedf's earlier post!

  16. Congratulations azurh. If you're at Kings the appointments are detailed in your maternity notes which the midwife will have given to you. If you can't find them let me know and I can send you a list (I'm not near my notes at the moment to be able to do so now).
  17. My first baby too and I'm due 7th April. Congratulations everyone!
  18. Thank you all for recommending Wayne. We've just had him valet the interior of our car that our cat decided to have a little accident in on a recent trip to the vets. Have never seen it look so clean and it now smells so good! Wayne is a thoroughly nice chap too and I would recommend him to anyone.
  19. Hi Gigi We use Tony from the Loyalty Groomers and he's brilliant with our long haired cat. We go to him, he's based in Herne Hill, but I believe he also does home visits. Hope this helps. http://www.theloyaltygroomers.co.uk/catgrooming
  20. Just seconding Calsug's recommendation. We found Daniel through previous recommendations on the forum so returning the favour. Great and knowledgeable guy with a great team, kept us fully informed along the way, was clean and tidy and did an excellent job transforming our exterior, hallway and bedroom. Could not recommend him enough and he has recently achieved the 'Which Trusted Trader' accolade too I believe.
  21. Hi Fidgetsmum I've made a recommendation for a cat flap fitter previously on here: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?30,1371216,1371216#msg-1371216 Hope it helps.
