  5. Which part did you find gross CWLD?
  6. This is on our Intranet. Thought it might be useful It's poop scoop week July 23 to 29 is Southwark's poop scoop week and the Street enforcement team are re-launching the free poop scoop bags service. These are available to residents from our libraries, housing offices, the town hall and one stop shops. Free pet microchipping...come on along This Saturday, July 28 from 11 am until 3pm we're having an exciting event on the Neckinger Estate, Bermondsey. The RSPCA will be there offering free pet microchipping, this normally costs ?30 at the vets. So drop by with your cat or dog to have them microchipped and to sign our anti dog fouling pledge. Flag a poo! There will be poo flagging too! The aim of "flag the poo" is to mark all the examples of dog mess found using brightly coloured flags. This idea has been effective in illustrating the extent of the problem to dog owners and ecouraging the irresponsible ones to improve their behaviour.
  7. Re-reading The Rum Diary. Going through his entire collection (again)
  8. Golden Closed about 12 years ago. Well spotted Ibo. Re The Sea Cow Delivering, it wont cover East Dulwich. They are going to start in Clapham. Typical! I just moved back home to East Dulwich from Clapham and now they start the service. :-S
  9. Karter....Peter Petrelli's.....Keep watching it'll make sense soon
  10. BBC2 sees the start of Seaosn one of Heroes (9pm 25th July). The show tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realise they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind. After watching the sereis already I know what power I would like (but i wont spoil it for you).So people if you had to choose one power what would it be?
  11. Too right Sean. Give me the power of Hiro Nakumaura that way I can teleport to each pub in ED rather than walk and stop time to increase drinking hours. A fine power i'm sure you would agree :)-D
  12. Is it dead or isn't it(?) Hmmmmm a tricky one Sean.

Was it a dream?? Wait for this Katie-Ella. It was posted on our company intranet (Southwark Council) last month! Volunteer to take part in an emergency exercise The council provides a range of services in a rest centre to care for those displaced by an emergency. This includes the basic requirements of shelter, food and sleeping arrangements as well as responding to particular individual and social needs. Exercise Booth This has been organised to test the arrangements we have in place, ensuring it is well managed and supported. The exercise takes place at the William Booth College on Denmark Hill, Wednesday August 8 between 10am and 3pm. Volunteers! To make the exercise as realistic as possible, we need volunteers to play displaced residents. You will be given a specific role profile to play, such as a resident who is elderly and frail, somebody who has specific medical requirements or someone who does not speak much English. We need 30 to 40 volunteers so please contact us, and as an extra incentive we will provide lunch on the day! I for one will be attending and displaying my (limited) acting skills :))
