I would only wear Stuart Weitzman anyway. What kind of guy d'you think I am! And same answer to you too DJKQ!

They have a small heel... Hmmm.... ok LM, but I'll have to put you in the middle of the squad if you don't mind. Striding heels clashing on mettled roads make for a more appealing sound than the thunk-thunk of wobbly wellies.

A parade isn't a parade without one, especially not here in ED where all is free and easy. I'm a size 9.
  5. I don't think its an illness, Narnia, more a 'condition'. Sip some hot cocoa and lie down on a bed of lavender flowers and you will feel much better.
  6. Narnia Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What's this about wearing a woman's left breast? Are you getting a bit confused with another march, Narnia?

  9. You can be exempted from wearing heels LM as long as you provide a note from your doctor.
  10. Sources close to 'Axeman' say that he is willing to do this, provided that the draw takes place at midnight in the most remote, dense part of Dulwich Woods. Anyone? Blazing torches supplied. Crikey I've just scared myself thinking about it.
  11. I vote that we form our own EDF Squad and march up and down Lordship Lane, with flags waving and red, white and blue bunting hoisted high above our proud heads. Shopkeepers will wonder where their customers have gone, as the pavements fill with folk keen to get the best view as we swagger passed, singing 'Men of Harlech' at the tops of our voices. Damn it - my inner-Welshness erupted there for a moment, sorry. Dress code: Men - a uniform (any will do) with medals on the left breast. Women - same as men. And of course, heels are compulsory (hey, this is East Dulwich after all). What say you?

  13. I served my country and swore allegiance to the Queen. She gave me medals that I pin to my chest. I don't need to wave a flag about to show how 'patriotic' I am.

I'm saying this as a man who knows Mike. Oh, and thanks for spilling about my 'hunch'. Now everyone will recognise me as I lurch up and down Lordship Lane, doing my shopping. PS - thanks for the sympathy, *Bob*.

  16. He is defo not Mike. Hey folks... don't feed the troll!
  17. This is a local forum for local people. We won't have any of that Axeman sort around here..!
  18. I suspect that a child would be very happy growing up in the country until puberty hits. Then it would just become excruciatingly dull. Though I'm happy to be contradicted!
  19. My daughter's pet hamster came from Harrods. I suspect that it is of a non-Christian denomination.

  21. Best we give this Axeman chap an extra-wide berth whilst he swings that ugly axe of his, methinks....
  22. The end of ideology. The dawn of middle ground mediocrity.
