    as you wish - just offering a view. fact is, the cat will do what he wants. and it just sounds like he's not doing what you want - and that the forum doesn't reach everyone so you may want to consider other ways of asking neighbours not to feed it, and that they may not be doing so intentionally.

    Cats choose their humans. As much as we would like an exclusive relationship with them, they don't always agree. Also, not everyone reads posts on this forum. you may find posting through letterboxes or posters on lamp posts more effective in asking for him not to be fed. You can't ask people to lock their cat flaps to stop him coming in - and they may not be home to ask him to leave. In fact, he may be just eating anything other people leave out for their cats. I'm sorry - but cats like to do their own thing. It's strange that he leaves when he's hungry - have you tried changing his food? it sounds like he might prefer a different restaurant.

    I have just seen this post that the council have scheduled this magnificent tree to be removed. Do we know about this? How do we stop it? I am literally sick of the council.

    so - lollol is concerned that the state schools are not of adequate standard so has chosen private education. The state school funding was cut by the conservatives. Labour are looking to add VAT to private fees and have pledged to invest billions in state schools (by increasing corporation tax). Yet, the OP is opposed to Labour for the VAT on fees? despite the pledged improvement to state schools? and by default therefore supporting the continual decline of state education by the tories? hence making the problem worse than it already is? I'm all for increasing VAT and improving state schools. I won't be supporting the short sighted petition.

    Crows live in family groups and will protect each other. It may be there are other crows around, they will feed an injured bird. do update when you have info x

    Contact local wildlife centres or RSPB, and get advice. I would also call the vets. It may be stunned and just need time or may be injured - is he moving/ limping/ breathing properly? I’d try and put him in a safe place away from cars and people. Google injured crow as well

    For ages restricted items, yes they can ask for dob which they will add to their device but not record. As to why your package was classed as age restricted, I can't say - perhaps check with Amazon

    Possibly a good idea to spend some time in the area you’re potentially buying a house in and checking that it’s somewhere you’re comfortable with. The main road is too noisy and busy for us, we moved away from the very centre of ED and it’s very different. Where you live is very personal so you have to choose for yourself

    Why is it fair? Is adding a tax that will affect children’s education necessary? Are there not more obvious choices to go after for tax? perhaps it would be more fair that children who would otherwise have to move schools, to be an exception, but applicable to all new pupils

    We had similar. Large trees at bottom of one garden, blocking light but not dangerous. Neighbours got together, spoke with owner and paid for tree surgeon to tidy it up and give the tree a health check. is your tree dangerous or is it big and you’d rather it was smaller?
