  1. I'll buy all the Geminis a radio. NB this is a wind-up citizen
  2. And Tillie just faints
  3. *finished the layout of the lounge - perspective all awry, but what the heck* *at last, a punter - i'll enjoy drawing that hat, Asset - I wish she'd stop swigging straight from that bottle* *methinks, better leave it 'til she's "asleep". in meantime, I'll draw the fish tank.*
  4. Nice, Georgia - but come on gal. start us off.
  5. Whilst sitting alone at my desk I came across all statuesque so still did i sit I looked like a twit So I hummed a playful burlesque NEXT: I set up a stall at the Fair
  6. *saunters in, sits on largest bean bag in the corner - pulls out pad and pencil. Starts sketching. Map out room first, dodgy perspective! See who beaches up.*
  7. *scratches head: 6pm, 7pm; DM not only one conveniently confused by BST/GMT thing. muses over trolley. opts for an Old Speckled Hen. Does a double take. Is that Charles Bukowski entering stage left?*
  8. *sitting on hands - looks up v. sheepishly*
  9. *rummages in bag for sewing kit - attempts emergency surgery on shoulder - thanks for the shot Keef, that should dull the pain. chides self for rash actions. goes to sit on the naughty step.
  10. *rummages in trunk in attic for earplugs from last trip. Can't find the buggars. using best non-verbal communication techniques attempts to ask assorted slackers for any spare ones. Finds NVC vocab is, to say the least, not fit for purpose. In desperation grabs knife and lops off right arm. Now that might have been a mistake.*
  11. Think that is a fine idea Sean - you don't want a foursome of rusty players and rookies out on a public course. Quite aside from being hilariously embarrassing for all concerned and taking about 6 hours to get round (not my idea of fun) it will seriously piss off the propa golfing fraternity where slow play is on par with torturing children. citizen
  12. *but my sparkling water with twist of lemon is an incredible refreshing sensation (so it says on the bottle)*
  13. *eyes Tillie's undesired Tequila's jeolously. Consults devil on left shoulder. Eyes narrow. Smiles. Then angel on right shoulder pitches in. tsk tsk.*
  14. Sean, wouldn't mind myself - Beckenham Place Park is local. Haven't played in ages but do have clubs. And a car citizen
  15. bought some sculptures from Chile
  16. shuffles into room, then brightly hurdles over the bar, pours a straight whiskey and slides it along the bar in Mockney's direction. spits pellet of tobacco - misses spittoon by inches. that kind of day.
  17. It was lovely - beautiful weather, some interesting stalls. the park looked great, fantastic live music. Bumped into several firends and the Pavilion Cafe was surprisingly empty soenjoyed a quiet cup of tea in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. Knew about it through the Dulwich Festival literature. The dotted around layout was distinctly odd - it rather spoilt it in my view. Whoever was responsible might need a refresher course in Event Management. citizen
  18. I can put my foot in my mouth...and regularly do. citizen
  19. Sorry to butt in S and S - don't watch much but First series of Teachers was brilliant - First series of No Angels a complete delight - First series of Shameless the same. Loved Bodies (you guessed it - first series) and before that Cardiac Arrest. Don't generally do U.S. stuff. Current fave: Charlie and Lola (CBBC) citizen
  20. now that this year's fair has come and gone - i noticed a number of black people there, the lovely lady on the Gumboots stall for example and - of course - the Event Security and the Southwark Community Wardens. What does that tell us? citizen
  21. Capt.B said - "BBC News reporter John Pienar (sp?) was at the Fair on Sunday" He was in the Soft Play area at Peckham Pulse with his daughter(?) a while back. My lil' boy (about 18mths) went over to him, pointed and started saying Bear, Bear. Pienar found it pretty amusing. Also saw Adrian Lester in Blue Mountain with his little girl (?) not that long ago. citizen
  22. I cheer every time i travel past the old McDonald's in Forest Hill. citizen
  23. 5live over here. huge fan of Nicky Campbell in morning and drive at tea time. For music - XFM and Choice. As you can tell - I need HELP. citizen
  24. *sinking deeper and deeper into the Pony duvet - its sounds muffled in here - it's geeting darking in here - it's smelling worse in here; deeper, deeper, darker, darker, snuggling further.....whoops, Ive delved in so deeply I've emerged on the other side. Time for a drink.*
  25. So i'll just have a soak in the tub
