  13. Back to the point and a simple question: why did Sainsbury's put the parent and child spaces right next to the entrance? A mere fifty yards more away from the entrance and lazy (non-child) drivers wouldn't use them. Am I missing something?
  14. richardbach Please could I suggest you write your stuff into a word processing program, spellcheck it, and then copy and paste it here. I can't be the only person who finds it almost impossible to read your posts...

Yes, I know the rich avoid much of their tax these days, but 150 years ago only a small minority of the population paid tax, and then only at a rate of less than 10%.

Errm, clearly doesn't know what's been happening in France's ghettoes recently, then - riots aplenty. Ah yes, I see - he's only interested in the whites. How quaintly French...
  21. Cuts to EMA will not affect the poor. Tuition fees haven't kicked in and have been woefully misreported - kids think they have to write a cheque for ?9,000 to go to university. And lack of employment opportunities has been the case for years. 13 years of Labour's social inclusion policies clearly have not succeeded.

  23. Hatred certainly inflamed by comfortably off political enemies of the Tories - talk of the "savagery" and "inhumanity" of the cuts, and an arts administrator with a six-figure salary comparing arts cuts to the blitz. Stupid and woefully exaggerated talk. Yes, the Tories are sh*te and I wish they weren't in power, but the level of political discourse in this country does no-one any favours.
  24. Well, Labour failed miserably then.
