I'm considering a similar approach for the next family circular. "Little Jonty (td) has been a perfect darling about having to go to big school, and has hardly kicked up any fuss at all. Meanwhile Letitia :X has been learning to express her opinions clearly. As the oldest, Samuel :'( is feeling rather responsible. Still, at least Mum is back to her old high spirits :)-D. Love to all, The Maxes"

A nice thread in the Family folder about nice places to eat out with children takes an unexpected turn: (Try putting a number 6 in brackets and see what happens)

  14. Well done Wolf. I'm doing a lap of my bedsit here in celebration.
  15. Isofix have to be used by law in Australia and it has been the case for over 8 years. Just to clear this up. Australia has had its own standard of anchor point + top tether strap system and for a long time was the only country that officially mandated an anchor point system - but that system was not Isofix, which is a specific standard (and doesn't come with a top tether). In fact, Isofix has only recently been submitted for standards approval in Australia and many people in Australia prefer the Isofix standard to the "home" system, because it is much easier to use, and therefore considered safer as the seat is more likely to be installed properly. All of which doesn't help Skip much, but I thought it might explain the apparent contradictions in the information supplied so far.
  16. Unexpected rear garden as well - tiny, but better than nowt I hope you tipped well, Sean.

  18. Those Mayans. So earthy, in a subdued manner. So bohemian. So open to considering the big questions - like should we sack these off and head for the Bishop, or get a bus into town?
  19. Woody Allen films, not just the latter day fodder but also the rated ones. Sorry. I know it's me not him but I've never finished one.
