  1. Actress is fan of the Bishop.
  2. Even better Brendan, when you take the new socks off later tonight, there'll be bits of fluff stuck all between your toes, and you'll be able to jemmy them out with a fingernail and flick them at your wife.
  3. ... so that its users may start.
  4. I personally just don't like the name "the lounge" Sitting or drawing room would be preferable, I am inclined to agree.
  5. Puts on spectacles, administers diagnosis. It's Monday, HonaB. I recommend hard work, plenty of greens and strenuous exercise. Here's a leaflet. Come and see me if things haven't picked up by Thursday.
  6. RVP
  7. http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2008/nov/21/baby-development-buggies-sutton-trust Just saying, like.
  8. No Ted, just shove it all in! ha! More of a megabite, then.
  9. Do you eat them tiny piece by tiny piece, microbite?
  10. I don't think there's a party line that says you can't use your car for a long journey at off peak times where no viable public transport alternative exists. But you keep sticking it to The Man, Tony.Woman Magnet.
  11. People from them come on here, tell you they're shit, and then disappear.
  12. I have been unaware of the existence of an SE23 Forum, BBW. What is it that has been attracting the old blue pencil? I'm a postcode-hopper myself, btw, and they make you welcome here, as long as you know your place. EDITED because David made my punctuation look stupid.
  13. Or have a flying sausage in the title sequence.
  14. Grange Hill was a great in-depth look at how education can succeed or fail in raising the opportunities and horizons of young people. Often though, there is a sense of purposelessness, as these kids' backgrounds become hard to escape, drugs take hold, and teachers and the State boards seem apathetic and fatalistic about the prospects of their students. American TV would never take on such issues in such depth.
  15. Looking a little wired, perhaps.
  16. David Simon. Now he sounds familiar. Where have I heard that name before?
  17. ...I buried my heart.
  18. Two whole tests. India said we'll play three if you stick around to Christmas. England said Nah. England said, we'll play three tests if you drop a couple of ODIs. India said Nah. Seven ODIs. Two Tests.
  19. Thanks very much, Eileen. Appreciate you taking the time, especially at such a late hour. Will be interesting to see how things go. Oh, and piazza not plaza. Noted.
  20. Why, thank you. LuvPeckham is quoting Dexys Midnight Runners at you. I don't know why. It could be because he's a bit Too-Rye-Ay.
  21. I know he is a serious person. But I'm only eight years old so couldn't help myself. Would conservation area status help re-open up the station plaza - which seems to me the single most useful development that could happen in the specific area? Forgive me if I am wrong, but it seems the chief benefit of CA status would be to open up funding streams currently unavailable. Also, is this area thriving and full of small businesses and "faith groups", or is it in need of regeneration? Best to be clear, no? You will probably tell me to come along tomorrow night and find out, but I'll be working I'm afraid.
  22. I know I shouldn't, but Benedict O'Looney (local architect and historian quoted in the Buussey Building link). That's fantastic.
  23. There's never a precision-guided stealth bomb handy when you need one, is there? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/article5139964.ece
  24. It's just Snorky worshipping the power and money, as per.
