Gatwick. ED station - change at East Croydon, onwards to Gatwick Airport. Sorted. Some will say London City, but your cheap flight options are more limited. EDIT: If you're going early in the morning you might need to go into L Bridge and back out again.
I hear you, PGC. I'm afraid this one was coming. England seem to have done not much in preparation since dealing with the Saffers in the ODIs. And Yuvraj was on a mission after a difficult time recently.
Peckham Rye was, of course, open for business this morning, Mr P...and would have had, ready at hand, a willing volume of volunteers skilled in opening locked gates if there were any problems.
I'm sorry, Hona, but if the social utility of this pink elephant is not proved to me soon, I will have it removed from its van-mounted position, dismembered, and use its pedal extremities as stools. You can have the trunk, if you like.
The Maxettes and I have also seen the Pink Elephant a fair bit recently. Usually parked on lower part of Crystal Palace Road. You are right, there is no indication what it is for.
Who gave you the right to propose any such thing? All such proposals need to be made to the Effective Working Practices Special Interest Group, whose outputs are flowed upstream and downstream to the EWP SIG stakeholders, before approval. I'd be happy to let you have our latest discussion document, "Evening social interaction: KPIs and SLAs. V1.32". Or you can download more on our site here: ftp.pissupinabrewery.organise.howto-item.html
There was a notice on the door of the Wishing Well last week that said: "We cannot open today due to a problem. Any problems, please call 07xxxxxxxx". There is currently another notice pointing out that to gain admittance, you have to be over 21, and are not allowed to deal drugs on the premises. I realise this might limit numbers at an EDF meet, so thought you might like to know.
General ED Issues / Gossip Wire Fence - As a top executioner I think Goose Green would look better with a wire fence and it would decapitate any stray shitting dogs. Why has nobody from the Councel been to arks me?> Typicals!!!11!
What's on in East Dulwich? Wire we here? New Alpha Course starts All Saints church, all welcome. Sandwiches and Juice provided. Wire Wool Knitting Club - Extreme knitting at the Pyrotechnist Arms, Nunhead. Wear a Wire - Police Station open day, Saturday, 12:30-12:33. Bring own curry.
We need more Wire threads. Wire Thread - Is there anywhere in ED I can buy some wire thread? (Preferably recycled) Bird on the Wire - What is your favourite cover version of Cohen's famous song? Wire in the Blood - Why does big Val McDiarmid let Robson Green anywhere near her writing? Barb Wire - Ahead of its time warning of neo-conservatism due for a recall at Cinema Paradiso (now located downstairs at Gregg's Bakery, Lewisham High Street)
I've just read Obama's full speech and my eyes appear to be a little moist. Dear oh dear. Must have been incredible to feel part of it if you were watching him in Grant Park last night. McCain's was nice too. Re 1997: I don't know, these bastards suck us in every time, don't they? Maybe this guy will be different. 97 was a relief all right but it was somehow more certain. Or maybe that's just with hindsight. Weird haired dickwad John Bolton was simply not getting it on the BBC coverage last night. It was reminiscent of the Tories after 97. "The Repubs lost because they failed to drive hard enough right". "Palin was a good idea because she connected with the core vote." Tories drove deeper and deeper into the night before realising that mistake, and that elections are won in the middle. Let's hope a good old Republican tear up is in the offing as they repeat that error.
