Dear Arsene I know it's tough at/near the top but losing to Wigan in that way has made resurrect my other interest Peanuts of course Have a browse your self, maybe we could grow a peanut trophy all of our own for next year If not, it's a healthy "distraction" from this seasons crop Grrrrr.... W**F

Ohhhh... You're "nicked sunny" ...but I regularly carry, on or about my person one like this ( during working hours ) http://www.conney.com/wcsstore/Conney/images/fullsize/z80037.gif And one like this.. http://www.sheffieldknives.co.uk/acatalog/lambfootrh-th.jpg All legit because of work & I have been stopped & not had any problems W**F

Well... I'm sure he's fine & dandy now, after all he's got a bed to sleep in & that he previously..... Hit his wife on the head seven time before eventually wrapping her in plastic & throwing her from a first floor window to finish her off ...should have no bearing on how safe Ms Morley is now. She's a friend indeed ( unlike his wife, who was ...err his "wife" ) I wonder if any of his handyman tasks involve a hammer... I mean really.... " a convicted hammer killing handy man with a hammer " that's preposterous Who writes that stuff...? W**F

Firstly... I am all for squatting a disused building however, were the owner to approach you to move out on an agreed date or after an agreed period following a court action, would you be looking for "compensation" of some kind Of course you are not actively doing this for cash, but would it "oil the wheels" somewhat Lastly, whose broadband are you using ( are you close enough to pick up the free EDT network ? ) W**F

Hove actually... Hove actually has a legendary chocolate shop called "Audreys" ( poop to you H&G, this makes your contrived weirdness seem, well "pedestrian" ) Back in the day you'd walk in there ( door dead centre of the shopfront that pinged as you opened it, plain full length "voile" curtains over the windows & a dead straight counter dead ahead of you. The place was like a set from a Coen Brothers movie, all painted in creamy buttermilk colour ) off the side street with little or no other shops near by. I never, ever, saw anyone else in there Anyway "ping" would go the door...... And you'd wait....for a while......& then a little longer....oh, but the smell just caught you A slightly built woman in a fitted white almost nursie workcoat would appear, wearing whiteish cream gloves, neat dark tied back hair. Unsmiling but with a slightly inquisitive face " Can I help you" as if you were lost. There started a wonderful ritual of discovery at Audreys. My dad used to buy his mother chocolates from there when he was a child back in the 50's It's a bit special, make a trip next time you're down there 5 year old marrachelo cherries in liqueur encased in dark chocholate ( shoot me now, it can't get any better ) Trust me W**F

Really Mic Mac.. I mean where else sells "not fags" eh ...? See... and that joke snap chewing gum that I let my eldest experience 1st hand when he was 5 years old ( I swear the girls were on the verge of calling social services ) Honest he's never forgotten/ forgiven that one Anyway it's nostalgia you're paying for And that don't come cheap... "ding-a-ling" *shop door closes* W**F ( oh & in my dream/nightmare/seri-state/ I go to get served & as the girl smiles, her black teeth fall out into a little plastic basket...)

randombloke Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Isn't Aubergine a little like Samuel Johnson's > quotation about cucumbers? ______________________________________________________ Well... Mrs Beaton said something like "After the age of 40 cucumber gives you up " & I'm inclined to agree Though regarding Aubergine, you're plain wrong or maybe just ignorant It, when treated right is a delight, learn to cook & not just heat things up I'd say Preparation is where the art lies, good kind hands & the ingredients won't misbehave Samuel Johnson indeed, he'd be turning in his grave W**F -
Well... I actually dumped a girlfriend over smoking, never regretted it either And personally I only "bite" with my mouth open "Like watching a washing machine go round" my awful Mother used to say of people eating Huguenot She'll front your campaign, the old bitch W**F
-
Smokers... It's like being incontinent, you'll do it anywhere. I don't hate or blame you for it, I just don't like it ( the smoking ) not you the smoker however, it is really really unpleasant when we ( non smokers ) are in a pub beer garden. The pervasive atmosphere & the ash trays stink, second only to dog sh1t. If I'm eating my mood is driven to a near violent haste I have stopped going to certain places for that very reason & I'm not some oversensitive pratt, MrsW**F likes a ciggie, but not in my airspace & never near me Sorry but you've got to get over it, crying like spoilt children over a silly bit off killer weed you insist on sharing by default with others Why the heck should you be able to inflict that on others, it's wrong and your days are thankfully numbered ( in more ways than one ) I love you, but I don't love your habit So endeth...... Amen W**F

Milo Yes, I do mean "angry" Read any broadsheet homes supplement on a weekend, it's pretty much about places on the "up" or curious green & regeneration issues, happening "elsewhere" "Squatters on your doorstep" doesn't feature that often W**F
-
God forbid.... There are those whose world view is collected up on the pages of whatever Saturday/Sunday broadsheet they salute to It's other people that live in "those kind of places" not them, no. They prefer an airbrused mindset, rosie views at the end of their noses & definitely not "that lot" anywhere near the bottom of their shoe For them squatting is what goes on in a Greek toilet, not in a place ripe for gentrification It's like somebody has kicked the Jigsaw puzzle world they live in It's that they are not happy with In fact they are very bloody angry Indeed they are W**F

Where do I live.... Bellendon area??
woofmarkthedog replied to mrs f's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Brendan.... Oh yes that's all true & that cinema is listed BTW But "Upper Beckenham"....I ask you ..? Surley he must mean "Penge" or at best "Penge East" No it's definitely "lower sydenham" ( all in lower case too ) W**F -
B*llox.... If the property isn't secured properly & not obviously lived in then good luck to them "The Goose Green Sqautters" x(sic) Good neighbors are priceless & if this lot are not making a nuisance in the area, then IMHO it adds a bit of "social texture" But drive everyone mad & it's "face the pitchfork" time Good luck in the meantime W**F

sydenhamcentral Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I live in Lower Sydenham aka Upper Beckenham. ______________________________________________________ Ohhh.... You "fibber" there's no such place ( well except in the estate agents mind...) Though I do live in Upper Sydenham, which borders Dulwich "Yah.... you know......" W**F -
I.... Really thought Dave C's hair looked better than normal. You know when the stylist sprays lacquer into the brush & then brushes it through the hair, to give it lift & hold Conversely, he needed a slightly lighter tone in regard of his concealer & foundation His lipstick was spot on though Trust me.... I sooo know these things W**F
-
No.... Not the colour of the "Parties" It's that old chestnut "HAIR"... I can see a "trend" toward an unconvincing "BROWN" dyed hair on TV It looks rank & so far I have spotted... Nick Clegg Jamie Oliver Jimmy Carr Rob Rydon ( though I could kick his bal*s purple ) Lee Dixon Anymore anyone....? W**F

Because.... It's cloudy... DUH...! Next question Why is it so sunny today...? I won't hold my breath W**F

Well.... One of these should sort the "idiots" out http://www.wpclipart.com/armed_services/tanks/Sherman_Tank_WW2.png All you need is one of the "Jones's" in your street to buy one & you can follow suit "Meh, look where they've parked this time" W**F

Well... I've got a hard on & I haven't seen her in years W**F
