  1. Get a room.... With a keyboard, preferably.
  2. Hoddle would be a brilliant choice I think. He deserves a chance back in management. Complete gaff lost him the England job but hopefully he won't mix his personal beliefs with the football again.

What I saw was 1) slow defenders and 2) big gaps between them. Liverpool crawled all over that strategy. I didn't see the Liverpool Hull game - but I'd guess the Hull defence was packed and pool could not break it down?

It seems clear the high defence is a high risk strategy. The Liverpool boss added: "We talked in the last couple of days about Tottenham that obviously the goalkeeper plays high and the back four play a high line, and Jordan's runs and Joe Allen's runs, particularly in the first half, were exceptional.
  9. I don't worry too much about the bet Otta. It just helps give me someone to support. Would be very happy to see Liverpool mount a real challenge this year as I grew up a Liverpool fan and many friends and family support them. Would be nice to see them back at the top in England esp with an unsung NI man at the helm too.
  10. In order to rate this win I am looking forward to seeing match of the day. I don't like AVBs high defensive line and if some of Liverpool's goals were on the break against this high defence then I would probably say that Tottenham contributed to their own downfall esp as down to 10 for part of the game. But nevertheless a notable scalp. Anyway I'll wait and see.
  11. Quite liking my 33/1 on Brendan's boys. No Gerrard, no problem. That's another debate.
  12. Louisa. Please come clean on any link you have to Londis as that post is clearly biased and a shameful plug. Are you a shareholder.

If there's a ball there, he'll handle it. Let it lie Mick, its history. But I still hate him, I so do.

  15. 1961? Meaning what. I don't remember Spurs winning the European Cup.

I tend to suffer tiredness these days rather than a hangover. But when I say this to my wife she says tiredness IS a hangover.
  17. bawdy-nan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > "To be honest when we moved > here it was a bit rough" I'd heard it was rough 20 years ago. Irish builders etc in the pubs. Shocking. It couldn't have been rough 8 years ago, as I was here.
  18. My wife bought the little one - single speaker version yesterday. It runs off my HTC One which is where my music is stored, which is great as I had heard it did not run off android music collections on android smartphones, but it does. It also has facility to adjust the bass and treble - which I didn't know either. I like this as I find the factory setting to "bassy" especially for AC DC which you want raw. :) Incredibly simple - 2 mins and you are done, app loaded etc. Converted.

And Jah doesn't like people deviating from his footie thread as he used to be a headmaster and is a bit a stickler for the old rules innit.
  20. Because we never had an up Jah. When we do I will.

  23. Isn't she saying the Crown House ones did donate a tree? Anyway, who cares. I did buy a little tree from Crown House last night and yes they were very nice. So whether they did or didn't give the firemen a tree, they were nice to me and the kids. Happy Christmas Trees.

He didn't know about it, but your username expires when you get to 10,000 posts and he is no more I'm afraid. Never liked him anyway.
