  3. My wife is out tonight. I can't remember approving this leave, so if you see her please return her. I'm concerned she might make a run for it.
  4. Haha PGC. Pullover.
  5. Who would you expect to win an award for the EDFer with the best Christmas jumper. There is form here.

Leaving ED at 5 was a bit earlier than my usual. 3rd was fantastic as it means you get "black type" in the breeders manuals as being placed in a Listed race and hence it helps the value. Not sure about next step but probably won't run until April next year. Thanks for reading. May post link if I can find it.
  9. Would love to but it was cold in Fontainebleau today Kingy :) . Staying in tomoz.

I'm not sure of the technical difference between trolls and flamers but there is pain in the ass trolling which generally just annoys people as opposed to taking a slightly contentious viewpoint that has some merit, just to get a bit of a discussion going. Surely that's all part of the fun.

I'm all for quality beer as much as the next man and i don't really care what it costs tbh. Just good to create a bit of a stir now and again. I'm moving into Altima court shortly so FP will be my local and I'm looking forward to spending my hard earned in there. It's a nice bar, nice staff too. edited to say I had not seen ottas flaming thread before posting this.
  16. Agreed. Great effort by Strachan. Restored some pride to the team. He might take over at England next.
  17. You're right Woodrot. I'm delusional about England's prospects.
  18. 50 years so lots to think about. A fascinating family.
  19. Enjoyed the first half and thought England the better team and up for it. Germany goal seemed to even things out and I went back inside to the warmth and the goodies inside. Shame that England couldn't keep it up.
  20. That how I read it too. Is it normally about 10% need to be affordable housing in each new block?
  21. Would that be a flat cap?

I agree BrandNewGuy but I guess as its a relatively normal pub I expected relatively normal prices or to be warned in advance if I'm buying premium beer. There was nothing to suggest I was buying something over ?5. I'll know to check the beer price list next time to aid my choice. But I'll remember it as the place where I first paid over ?5 for a pint. Maybe your wine comparison would make more sense if I was presented with a "Beer List" to peruse and choose from. I guess they feel the board in the corner does the job but I certainly didn't notice it until afterwards. The beer was nice and it was 6+% but still a bit of a surprise. I actually thought I was buying a standard IPA and that it would be cheap. As it was my first drink of November and being 6+% - I fell over three times and started a fight on the way home, shat in the EDT toilets and was sick in a kebab. So I guess I got my moneys worth.
  24. From the horse's mouth "Dear All, Silver Treasure has been declared to run in the 14:50 (French time) on Thursday at Fontainebleau. He has been drawn in stall 3 of 11 and Ioritz Mendizabel rides. It is a Listed race, so a bit above us potentially, but has good prize money on offer and it will enhance the horse's value if he can finish third or fourth. He has had a good season the horse and I felt that it was worth taking a shot at a bigger target as he will keep his maiden status, which is earning him good money at present. Many thanks, Amy Weaver. Amy Weaver Racing" Should be longish odds for a place in this one, but will be tomorrow before the odds are released I imagine.
