Fantasy ending and a daughter wishing her father could fly despite the tell tale background noises. Really good film about people.

  4. Ok. Lets move on. The point I was making has changed direction somewhat. And I accept I'm far from perfect.
  5. Poor old Quids is restricting himself on the forum, which coincided with the day he gets a Cheltenham treble and can't gloat about it.

Any time I go to a "quality" restaurant, I wear a sign around my neck that says "Nil foam by mouth".
  7. Celtic tonight issued an unambiguous statement in support of Virgil Van Dijk, but one which slammed the SFA Discipline Committee for its inexplicable decision not to cite Calum Butcher for the offence in which the Dutch defender was sent off, and Paul Paton was dismissed in a case of mistaken identity. The Celtic statement read ?It seems completely illogical and fundamentally unfair that, in an incident where mistaken identity has been claimed, the Dundee United player now identified clearly as being involved in the incident appears to have no case to answer - and would be available to play in the League Cup final and the Scottish Cup replay between the two teams - while Celtic?s player may potentially miss both of those matches.

  9. Its no coincidence that SCSB is attracted to Rangers (edited to add that this is a bit unfair on Rangers) but its not his being a Rangers fan that I don't like about him. You can contrast my relationship with him as against PGC for example who I positively like. I think you are putting two and two together to get five Otta, but I understand the logic. However - I don't think you will find a post where I have reacted badly to Celtic losing to Rangers by flinging insults at anyone or swearing, which was my original point. Normally PGC and I have a whiskey wager on it. The original point was that we should take both defeat and victory better as football fans.
  10. Ha. A coincidental and unprompted appearance by SCSB. I may have referred to you as these things, but if I did its not for the reasons you give. If I don't like you, its nothing to do with football I'm afraid.

  13. Faugheen the Maaaaaaaaaaachinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne. Only 11/10 but a class horse for today and the future. Annie next. even shorter odds.

  15. I have had a text from Quids already - on inner in the bag for him. loser for me. Vibrato in the next .

  17. I'm talking about people not clubs. You and me is fine and I'm happy for you to compare your posts to mine. Take responsibility for your own posts on here and don't hide behind your club, my club or anyone else's for that matter - as this demonstrates the attitude of many a football fan, that being the point I'm making - its ok because I'm a football fan. You think its ok to post "ginger twat" because you are talking football/banter. I'd guess you would not post on another thread the way you post on a football thread.
  18. No - I meant absolutely everybody on this forum, not everybody on this thread.
  19. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The answer to that is - don't leave Real Madrid. > It's a seriously different ball game over here and > if you're not up to it you'll be found out. True and once you have been found out - The English premiership (with our sky subscribers money/voluntary tax) will pay massive money for you anyway.
  20. Parkdrive - if you cant you see any problem with your earlier posts then that's fine - I don't understand it but ill move on. As a general point I don't understand why football has to be so antagonistic all the time. These people are not like this in real life surely - yet they feel they can shout and abuse players etc simply because they have paid for a ticket. Grr.
  21. There is a difference between gloating if you want to call it that and using poisonous vitriol. Endless swearing + "ginger twat" etc. There is no need for it. Hate is evident all over football, its embarrassing.
  22. FFS. Most suffer a broken leg and are put down to prevent suffering. Much better than the suffering involved in most human deaths from eg cancer. Until that point they are treated like kings - they are never required to work unlike other horses and are lightly raced to obtain best performance. Are you trying to piss absolutely everyone off DF.
  23. Jah Lush Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > frankly I don't blame you for your moment of joy, > PD. I did the same when we beat your lot recently. > It's only natural. > Personally I think his comments are nasty and shows all that is wrong with many football fans. The way some football fans react towards each other in victory or defeat is pathetic.
