  1. Quids. I'll see you at kids swimming in the morning. I'll bring the Guardian x2...
  2. Upstairs is nice Foxy. There is a seating area outside screen 2 and the screen itself on that floor has visible roofspace, beams above which gives a feeling of space. In short the whole place is a fantastic modern take on an old building. The garden is not yet finished but look forward to seeing that too. As regards price, I think you are also paying for the surrounds, the overall ambience, seating decor etc has an expensive look, it's more of an evening out experience than simply a movie.
  3. Or virtual glasses with video of Moore, Hurst, Peters... Oh... and canned roar.
  4. Live studio audience version of This Week was an obvious Top Gear format rip off. Very funny. Shame we have to sit through question time to get to it. #sadmanonatrain
  5. Why will they have sh1t views ?
  6. SCSB. I did think about whether I should engage with you and guess what, I regret it again.
  7. I think if the referee had seen it he'd have been sent off. Therefore I don't see why he shouldn't be suspended post match. As for Celtic writing to the SFA - that was "apparently" based upon a Celtic player having "apparently" heard the official behind the goal shouting penalty and being ignored by the referee and I think Celtic asked for clarification of whether this was the case and if so why was he ignored - nothing to do with wanting to have the player punished but still I think its looks bad for Celtic. Celtic manager said 6 officials obviously wasn't enough that day - that's about the height of it.
  8. It's not a handball, its a save. :)
  9. SFA cite a player and discipline a player with a one game ban for a handball of a goalbound effort, which was missed by the referee. FIFA disagrees and says such post match sanctions should be only for violent offenses.... ? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/572270/FIFA-issue-warning-to-SFA-over-Josh-Meekings-handball-verdict Boyce said: ?This sets a very dangerous precedent. ?I am absolutely, 100 per cent against the compliance officer becoming involved because the referee?s decision is final. ?It is a totally different matter if someone has gone over the top, or committed a serious foul, or head-butted someone and the referee has missed it. Those are disciplinary issues. ?But what happened here is that the referee has made a mistake regarding a handball and that?s the end of it. ?There is no way the player should now be disciplined for that. ?Who is to say it was even intentional?
  10. Maybe someone should start a thread about booking fees and a debate that's not therefore particular to a new local business (albeit a small chain).
  11. Online booking fees are the norm buying any ticket I'm afraid. Not a reason to berate EDPH surely.
  12. I used to go to the Ritzy 20 years ago. Prob before you were born MrB/HMB. :)
  13. Sterling is good but perhaps he is too young to realise Liverpool are a big club. He should ask his Dad.

And in return there is a significant discount going forward on tickets and "refreshments".....I expect my wife and I will achieve ?95 of discounts over time. Its good marketing and a good deal for both parties. I think its a brilliant idea.
  15. Alan Green made the same point about Sterling on R5 yesterday.
  16. I feel for any long term Ritzy member who wasn't able to get in at the weekend - but also I'm assuming the East Dulwich picture house founder member subscriptions were in some way directed towards helping with the cost of the new enterprise. Anyway - it's brilliant.
  17. rake: Brixton - front row seats to side are bad - far too close to screen and a completely sideways view from side of front row - hope ED doesn't have that ???? Am going both tomorrow and Sunday, so hope have decent seats. looking forward to it big time nd im sure it wil be a great venue
  18. Jeez. Awful.
  19. Yet today we find ourselves flung back into domestic issues with Lionel Messi, the best player in the world, taking a moment out of his busy schedule to note how much he misses Celtic in the European competition. ?The games against Celtic were special and I want to remember them," said the Argentine international. ?We know we would get a tough game if we drew them in the Champions League, but everybody involved in those Barcelona v Celtic games wants to go and play there again. ?It is the best atmosphere in Europe and we all want to experience that again.?
  20. Had super chips in SiMangia last night - "homemade" and very nice (alongside my Pollo Milanese of course).

  22. Good point - and it does seem there is a different level of test for that programme - whether that's appropriate or not.
