  1. Why do some people on facebook have attractive female Thai friends but appear to have no local attractive friends.
  2. Why do only black runners make the 100m Olympic final.
  3. Is there anyone on here who doesn't have any friends anywhere else?
  4. Any new property thread.

  6. What was the EDF like before the internet.

  8. Why does everyone hate the English. I was never brave enough to say that one out loud
  9. People complain about children possibly being disturbed, but its really themselves. Be honest. 12.30..... Come off it. There are noisy drunkish people walking down my road much later than that most nights who are more likely to disturb anyone than some music.
  10. I imagine all the pubs will be showing the rugby as it's a good egg game and doesn't attract bad eggs to one's establishment. The Bishop is already advertising and Flying Pig shows rugby but not football. Oval ball snobbery is alive and well in ED and there will be no shortage of places to watch. We will be overrun with white red rosed shirts no doubt in a show of olympic esque proportions for once in four years rugby fans. Some not seen since 2003.
  11. You can get solar and remote versions and with remote blinds too so yes there are lots of options and prices. If you can afford it I'd recommend the remote ones for easy opening.

It was always a thread per person until there were a rush of deaths once and important people got antsy about their precious forum being corrupted and set up the Chapel to ringfence death comments. I objected to being treated so abhorrently. We should at least have had a local referendum. Not sure Arthur deserves his own thread tho.
  13. If this 185 bus gets me from Victoria to the curry house by 8 I'll be pleasantly surprised.

  15. Is Stuart Broad any good?
  16. Legia Warsaw Are Awarded a 3-0 Win By UEFA 12 Months After Urging Celtic to ?Settle Matters Honourably? AUGUST 4TH, 2015 DCAW FOOTBALL 0 COMMENTS Legia Warsaw have been awarded a 3-0 win over Albanian side FK Kukesi after their Europa League first-leg tie was abandoned last week. The game was stopped after Midfielder Ondrej Duda was carried off the pitch after being hit by a stone thrown from the partizan Albanian crowd early in the second half, with his side 2-1 up. In addition to the forfeit, Kukesi will have to play their next Uefa match behind closed doors and have been fined ?49,160.
  17. My thoughts on this were that its rare that tributes to people who have died seem so positive and genuine. From Jimmy Tarbuck, Bruce etc But strangely no one seemed particularly sad, they seemed to be celebrating her life rather than grieving, possibly because she was such a happy, warm and generous person, who had enjoyed her life to the full and was still enjoying it to the end, the way we all would probably.
  18. It did for a while - those were the good days RD, lots of second places and lots of winnings.
  19. Suit yourself, why don't ya. I'm sure drinks before and after will be in the pleasant sunshine of the benches of the EDT.
  20. The 50% owner of the horse decided to sell recently for only 8,000 so it's been sold on - its highlights were a 3rd place in a listed race as a 2yo and a maiden win as a 3yo. At that point it was rated 97 and more than covered its costs but the trainer decided to have it gelded as a 3yo and performances tailed off after that, as a 4 year old it was only once placed 4th before being sold. The new owner is a jumps trainer, so will look out for how it gets on. It was great fun and we got away relatively lightly financially. With runs at Longchamp, Chantilly and Epsom, we had some great days out and met some top jockeys too. I think we would find it hard to get as much fun again from an affordable horse - but we might try again in a year or two. Michael.
  21. What a fockin liberty..... In the style of Catherine Tate.
  22. Vesta. Loved it.
