  1. The media fear him getting into power, a bit like they feared Kinnock getting into power
  2. For all its obvious bad points, discrimination can have a powerful motivating effect on some sectors of society, who are only too aware that they have to be better qualified than their non ethnic contemporaries in order to get jobs and make a living. Their parents make them aware of this at a young age and utilise the arguments to motivate them.
  3. Sorry to be late, but I hope to come along too. I'm on no drink November so don't expect me to be any fun.... Don't bother changing the booking if its a hassle, I'm sure I can squeeze in. See you at TNs.
  4. Me too. Great times.

Bit like the guys > that finished second to Lance Armstong. Bet they > don't feel deep down that they actually won those > tours. I don't think Celtic want the titles. The players knew they were getting tax free money - that was promised to them in side letters on signing for the club - without that they wouldn't have come to Scotland, I'm sure. It was always amazing to Celtic fans how Rangers attracted the players they did, and its now clear. I don't want them to lose the titles, couldn't care less really - but I do want them to lose the tax case, and for everyone to accept that it was wholly and knowingly wrong - everyone in tax knew it was wrong, its fraud.
  6. People have been known to buy houses for 5m and knock them down, to build some monstrosity, which is pretty scandalous.
  7. Eurosport.com ..... WHAT THIS MEANS FOR RANGERS - 'OLD' AND 'NEW' Depending upon further appeals, in purely sporting terms, this decision means there must be a huge question mark placed over trophies the 'old' Rangers won while the EBT system was in place between 2001 and 2010 before the 'old' Glasgow club was liquidated in 2012. HMRC are claiming around ?46.2m of unpaid tax from Murray's time as owner. The term 'financial doping' has been used in relation to the use of EBTs. Scottish titles, Scottish Cups and Scottish League Cups were all won as well as qualification for the Champions League and UEFA Cup while avoiding paying tax on players' earnings.
  8. I guess he is assessed on his ability to pay, and not on what your work needs are.

  10. Burger delivery seems wrong. Deliveroo, I have never used. Just Eat is brilliant.
  11. its probably best to call at 8am - the receptionist will ask the same questions but at least you don't have to give the information in front of others. I guess turning up at 8am was a way of guaranteeing an appointment when those calling up were being refused appointments as they were all gone. Everyone (personal visitors and telephone callers) are now subject to the same triage procedure before securing an appt.

  14. Howard Kendalls Everton team was a very good side. Used to like watching them.
  15. Sexton out for Ireland. Hoping Wales beat SA. Don't like SA particularly, especially Berger.
  16. Love it. A lot of weird peeps on there.
  17. Couldn?t agree more ? I thought it was 2007 over again too? see - Pool D decider - bottom right hand corner http://intouch.newcenturypublishing.com/i/582520-intouch-october-2015?utm_source=IRFU+Supporters+Club+-+Senior&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=In+Touch+October
  18. If Wales beat Australia, and Ireland beat France and Scotland beat Samoa - there will be a six nations (easier) side to the draw and an southern hemisphere + French side (harder) Might be an unlikely treble though.
  19. ???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nothing personal Mick but I'm liking DC's tips > better. England, hmm - got that wrong. Not sure DCs were great earners either though. I have Australia to win at 8/1 from the start and they look good, also have added Wales just as they ate >25/1 seems long.

And Ireland lost the quarter final to Wales because Wales were better.

  22. Don't agree with that decision and don't buy the one man team Suarez nonsense. Think the biggest mistake was buying a load of overrated Southampton players with the Suarez money.
  23. Sounds awful. Honestly. But I do wonder who prints photos these days and how these shops survive.
  24. Bob - take your current age, then add 9-10 months, then add another 18 years and that's the age at which you will be free. If that's too long, don't do it. when my third child was potty trained I was over the moon and would not want to start all that again - much as we think he is growing up too soon there, at age 5 there are so many ways we are getting bits of freedom back - so it's a no from me.
