  3. And you would find yourself in Trouble if you didn't send her to school while waiting for a place You can either put up with the commute while you wait for a space at the new school Or take up a place at s more convenient school if you can get one, while you wait for a space What's your distance from The new school and where are you on the list?
  4. You can hold out until the start of the term after your child is 5 After that you are obliged to take up whatever place you can get Waiting lists are via admission criteria - distance usually If the la was unable to offer you a school within 2 miles you would have good grounds to appeal and the infant class size restriction could even be temporarily waived But it's pretty unlikely they could offer you no place
  5. Baby between you and wall Ensure no gap Officially no pillow or duvet but I have always slept with one square pillow for mr ... A blanket or cot bed duvet just for you is good Bigger the bed, the better
  6. I think if your child us school less they will just allocate you a school within 2 miles and then she us no longer deemed school less It won't give you priority for the school you want unless all other available schools are full
  7. Hospitals will tend to do something to 1000 babies because 1 is at risk All we can do is to be informed of the risks rather than just be told what's 'necessary'

  12. You've read thd ofsted report? I haven't looked at the league tables but the trprt says results were average Inspection was dec 2010 Current head started sept x2010 The results infer didvusdiom were from summer 2010 I think if the school acts on the areas if weakness it should do much better when reinspected

  18. I dont think you can really be in the catchment for both... You will only really get a stab at your closest Re sept nursery places, these have already been allocated, not sure if there any vacancies let ... Call the schools Good luck Either will be great if you can get in
  19. Exactly So although jaundice requiring intervention is rare, an over medicalised response cam become a problem in itself ... Like so much of pregnancy and childbirth!

  21. new mother Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I had understood that the increased fluid from > formula flushed the br out faster than > breast-feeding would have done. 22. I would hsve thought you can cancel the place and go on a list for elsewhere Best ring and check You cZn transfer your child from one school to another at any time But you might struggle to get s place somewhere else unless you live VERY close The la has a 'choice Adviser' (sic) who maybe can help
  23. This is interesting http://www.arthritis-treatment-and-relief.com/joint-pain-related-to-post-partum.html I think it would be sensible to see the gp to rule out anything worrying
