  5. Yep And for school nursery any time from 2
  6. There is do much mobility in London it would be unfair to exclude children because they moved in after the application date It would also be unfair to base the waiting list on the length of time waiting as opposed to the actual admissions criteria However hopefully you live close enough you will get in eventuAlly You could prob do a FOI request to see on what basis thd other waiting list applicNtd are above you ( distance etc)
  7. You can keep water at the right temp in a thermos but doesn't sound like you will want to wait for it to cool or leap out of bed to run it under the tap
  8. It might be that the Villa doesn't use the govt nursery grant or offer the free places - check with them
  9. He will start school when he is rising 5, the Sept before he is 5 So that's Sept 2014. He is likely to get a place in a school nursery the year before - Sept 2013 Although he is eligible for the 15h free nursery education from the start of the term after he is three - so from Jan 2013. In the past the school nursery would have had a Jan intake when children joined the Jan reception intake but schools now take in to reception only in Sept The 15h free education should be offered by most private providers also, and according to the rules has to be offered with no strings or top up fees... so you can't be forced to pay for extra sessions or meals etc Southwark LA should have a list of private nurseries that offer the 15h. Most schools have nurseries attached but not all. A place in the nursery doesn't guarantee a place in the school. Schools tend to offer 5 mornings or 5 afternoons, term time only - private nurseries are more flexible and the time can be spread across a minimum of 3 days, or stretched out over 52w of the year
  10. Anyone fancy this? I will have all of mine inc the 8 yo boy so anyone with an older child, would be great http://www.horniman.ac.uk/events/nature.php

Once you have rinsed it under a tap it's fine, really Tip given me by the twins swim teacher and after a fortnight in Egypt with two babies swimming twice a day (how many nappies would that be? 13 x 2 x 2 - 52!!) one I was grateful for! Even with a good plastic cover or wrap over the top, their baby swimming class insisted on the disposable underneath
  19. I do think as long as your bp etc stay good and the baby is ok on monitoring then no need to worry, just wait I wouldn't have accepted induction just on dates if there had been no actual concerns
  20. I agree they come when they are ready If no health issues with mum or baby them patience will be enough, in the end Ds1 41+4 after acu walking 3 sweeps etc Twins 38+3 induced as one stopped growing - bishops score was 10 and twin 1 born 3h after waters broken Latest baby i developed High bp at 40 weeks odd Acupuncture clary sage walking ... Made no difference It then took several days of gel pessary AROM but nothing worked in the end except drip Baby wasn't in a good position
  21. Nice first post ... Just to promote your n London private school, I guess?

  23. The 400m us totally random Ruth Once the 2011 distances for each school have been issued you cN see if you would have got into an ED community school If not the lea will usually offer a school within 2 miles and you can stay on the waiting list for other schools I have yet to come across anyone over the last few years who didn't, in the end, get a school in ED or surrounding areas like forest hill, nunhead, bellenden rd, Peckham rye
