Nymom it sounds to me like she us hungry and so though you resettle her she wakes again after an hour ,when you feed her Does she feed enough in the day? Does she cluster feed in the evenings? I would suggest just feeding her every 3G at night for now You will get more sleep But do make sure she isn't skimping in daytime milk, 6m is s time of great distractibility

Domperidone to increase milk supply
Fuschia replied to supergolden88's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I think it is well known now that it is safe and effective, but of course it isn't a magic wand if the problem is one of latch, for eg, and so i can see why GPs would be reluctant to prescribe it without properly understanding what the issue was with feeding. It wouldn't be useful if there was an underlying problem like a tongue tie.. and usually a woman can increase milk supply just by feeding as much as possible and avoiding supplementation. -
Domperidone to increase milk supply

I have never seen anything a out it not being safe. I believe in the US it is licensed as a drug to increase milk production. Along withbn various herbal remedies, I believe it is very effective -

Just for the record, A205 past Catford Bridge is the worst bit of road EVER and to be avoided at all costs. Slow at any time of night or day!

yes, a12 is actually usually good (is my route to the m11/m25) but as long as you are not trying to turn off for hackney, often huge queues to turn off and if coming south if you turn off at mile end and go mile end rd/burdett rd then rejoin the route i described earlier. I have had bad experiences on the a13, tbh, the bit close in to docklands, but i think that may be because of roadworks a few years back Anyway, if you can get to that junction of the a12/a13 you have the choice, I guess, and the hard bit is actually getting there (without doing the awful a2 or greenwich)

naps/feeding question - advice reeeally needed
Fuschia replied to hellosailor's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Oh no, lie all cozy and warm and feed them till they drift off. Absolutely the greatest pleasure of a new baby! Introduce a muslin to snuggle and play some sleepytime music and those cues are then sorted for when you want to get them doing it with less help.. but just ENJOY the first 6-8 months. -
Is about a 45 min journey even in the morning, to get to the blackwall tunnel northern approach.

To get on the A12? None of those. Go peckham, bermondesy, rotherhithe, rotherhithe tunnel, back route after the tunnel up to the A12 (go past St pauls way school, you can see on the map the route that goes parallel to the north of east india dock road. When you come out of the tunnel, cross commercial rd and go straight ahead, past the marine works under the railway arches on the left, then turn right, keep going straight till you hit the A12 just north of the Blackwall tunnel This is my route to work, is by far the best, esp during the day
