  2. Our twin birth was lovely... will PM you my birth story when I get a minute. i do recommend having with you someone you can trust (I had independent MWs) The senior hospital MWs are very open to being supporive of your wishes... the drs more gung ho in my experience.

There were little ones who came along with their big siblings and we mostly meandered round the garden and collected stones etc while the big ones did the session.. but the staff were Ok with the little ones joining in with the art and we did wander over to the pond and see the stuff they'd dipped. So i think you could come just with a little one and enjoy the garden (free/donations) the playscheme thing is for over 5s I think

The item costs almost as much I would never use IKEA website again. They estimated delivery of somw stuff in 8 days till I'd paid then myseteriously the date set was 20 (!) days away. Couldn't get through to them to say date they suggested wasn't convenient. Took day's leave, they didn't turn up. Rearranged for next day, they came at 8pm and half the stuff was missing.
  7. Nature summer scheme thing 10.30>12.30, my 7 yo loved it (donation of ?3, parents stay) Is on each Weds in hols.

Well, in most cases monitoring is via the MW feeling the baby... it can be hard to be 100% certain i think. There was some doubt with DS1 and I went for a scan at 41w just to be sure he was head down.

  13. My Gp referred me for physio for pain I have in one leg (pregnant) but now the holidayas have started I can't get anyone to watch the children so I can go. Not looking for any specific advice really, just having a moan.
  14. Yes, was very civilised and I appreciate the extra pairs of eyes when one of mine goes awol. Will prob there again next Monday, or the one o'c club...
  15. Ana, if you don't want to go over 42w, why not book for induction at 42? TBH, although the risk doubles, it's still tiny. I was booked for a svan at 42+0 with DS1 but he came all on his own very fast a couple of days prior, in the end... I think tyhe monitoring via scan etc is VERY thorough, I had that with the twins as T1 wasn't growing at the end and at Kings they check blood flow to the brain and the extremities and placental blood flow and all sorts
  16. WE have one of those toy sorters (two rows of trays but with a bookshelf on top) we will be selling soon
  17. We have the baby bjorn bowls... by far the best IME. Can be thrown but being shallow it does discourage them a bit
  18. Evening primrose oil capsules near the cervix have similar effect to sperm, I believe... (soften it)
