  6. I have 2 yo twins so I am also keen on places where a toddler is well contained I can recommend Crystal Palace One O'club (not free but runs am and pm sessions) Also peckham pulse softplay (though parking is a headache) and Little Rascals soft play in Bellingham (when she's a little older)

Our son is almost 8 and he doesn't quibble even though most of his friends use small booster cushions.
  8. What will you be doing during the holidays? A minder prob is the best option by far, esp if you need cover foe INSET days and holidays. Likely cost probably ?35-?45 per day, more for a full day.
  9. I'm Nov 28 nor 24. It's a boy
  10. I don't really see how painting a blue strip down the middle of the road for cyclists and expecting car drivers to squeeze around it is going to be very safe for anybody...
  11. CP One o'c club (though not free) would be my choice

No, but at the many twins scans I had, they would often say... right.. the boy... oh, you do know the genders already, don't you? (Luckily, we did)
  13. The UHT one tastes fine. I had a craving for milk when pg with the twins and drank a lot of it myself. I think while the vegan lobby will say that dairy isn't essential for humans (and I say that as a veggy myself!) and there is a lot of hype around milk, toddler milk etc etc... a reasonable amount of dairy produce for the average child fits quite well within a balanced diet though there are other sources of protein and calcium... hummous for eg.... cheese and yoghurt are good and milk in itself isn't an essential.
  14. Try putting it out in direct sunlight. Works usually for me and orange stains
  15. Interesting contrasting view: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-517762/So-neednt-convert-Catholicism-all.html
  16. Well, you can't convert belatedly to Catholicism and expect to get into a catholic school anyway, I think most Catholic schools expect the childen to have been baptised Catholic at birth. Silly man.
  17. Results for Ulverscroft rd, for eg: http://www.upmystreet.com/local/schools/primary-schools-in-se22-9hg.html
  18. This info is relevant: http://www.lewisham.gov.uk/EducationAndLearning/Schools/SchoolAdmissions/SecondarySchoolAdmission/FindOutMore/ApplicationAppealRates.htm

  20. Still have a few of these recommendations in the pile I took on holiday (read about half what I took) so thanks to everybody that made suggestions/lent me books!
