  16. There has been some research that says firat babies are 8 days late, on average, and subsequent babies, 3 days late. http://www.faqs.org/abstracts/Health/The-length-of-uncomplicated-human-gestation-Adverse-infant-outcomes-associated-with-first-trimester-.html To understand the calculations, the normAL 40 wk gestation equates to 266 days - that's 8 days shorter than the 274 for first time mothers, and 3 less than the 269 for later pregnancies
  17. First baby 11 days late Twins induced at 38+2 (that's considered 9 days past term for twins)
  18. Why not ask? I am sure you wouldn't be turned away... I seem to recall this group was recommended on a thread somewhere as a suitable place for people with a toddler and a baby...

  20. The only thing is they're not comfortable to sit in while you're pregnant! Mind you I couldn't get comfy in any chair when I was pg with twins. But once they were born it was great, sometimes I dozed off with one or other asleep on my lap. And I have kept it in our living room for 2 years for the times one of the twins is ill, so I can sit and rock and watch night time TV...

If it is intended to keep the good value child menu and the toys etc etc, then that's good to know. I feel a little reassured now.
  24. So is it closed now? I went along on Thursday with twins in tow and it was shut sob sob, cue a disastrous afternoon that ended up with my virtually in tears at a bus stop by GG with both twins screaming in the rain and I was sure I was going to faint, had to be rescued by Mr F (I'm 7m pregnant) (Not that that this sad story is Jacks fault, of course, but finding my safe haven unexpectedly shut did throw me rather) The sign said it would be open tomorrow but I don't want to risk it again if that's not true...
