  2. Feb 07 full report - http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxcare_reports/display/(id)/133921 It was rated inadequate in 2005, 2006, and twice in 2007. But the 2008 report is much better (rated good) http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxcare_reports/display/(id)/227158 Looks like they have improved...
  3. A friend of mine used it, she said it was consistently awful over several years. And I think it failed several ofsteds. But the baby room was the best bit. Sorry.
  4. CP One o'c club is open mornings if you drive...

Yes, that's how it works, but Councils don't have enough money to open enough of these extra classes, I believe http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2009/jul/12/primary-schools-admissions-crisis http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/lobbying/children/primaryschoolplaces.htm
  6. Where I work, oversubscribed schools are taking on additional forms of entry with mobile classrooms, in some cases. I haven't seen the information from Southwark about the demographics... surely they will need to increase primary places in Dulwich? I'd suggest someone puts in an FOI request for all the info about the Council's discussions. Someone posted that next year the local elections are just after the primary places offer...

It is crooked through and through. Hear hear
  9. I don't think I'll venture out with the double buggy if it's raining. It's so hard to actually get it IN anywhere!! (And the babies insist on getting out and rolling round on the floor)
  10. My partner is extremely domesticated (just as well, with two babies) and works for a family friendly employer, as do I. Yet I find when a child is ill, I do feel that it's me they want and I should be the one to take taime off! It does get easier to share the load as they get older, but it's hard with babies and toddlers...
  11. After previous threads on this, the outdoor kit is now open, but consists now of just 3 rope swings. Apparently they're not allowed to have anything else as it would be too dangerous!
  12. There may be things on at the Children's centre Rye Oak primary. You could also have lunch at the Herne (which has a good climbing frame)

  14. Mon/Weds/Fri mornings the one o'clock club is open.

You're right! It's changed. Handy for me to know for my two!! http://www.dcsf.gov.uk/everychildmatters/resources-and-practice/nurseryfaq/
  16. Mr F takes over between 6-7am and I get to kip for another hour or 90 mins, bliss, makes all the difference!
  17. Buds? Dulwich Village PreSchool? Are you looking for a long day, or something like mornings? Magic moments creche? The grant comes into play at the beginning of the term after they're 3 and a half, you know.
  18. A goat, that's the trick!! I must say, bribery works best with son no 1 (6) on all issues. Buy a toy, put a puicture of it at the top of the chart, toy on wardrobe, target of stickers to get the toy... (small toy = 10 stickers for a littlie?) You can get stickers that say I ate my veg Good at bedtime stayed in my bed all night etc etc
  19. It's interesting how a change of place makes them behave differently. Maybe you can chnage your arrangements at home to keep the good work going? Black out blinds/white noise? xx

If people don't want their messages to be seen, don't post in the first place, I say!
  24. There are loads in the adventure playground area at P Rye. We filled several large cups full and ate twice as many and the babies were happy to sit in their buggy and watch and be hand fed. Noone has been picking them, so there are loads low down too.
  25. There are some special reading quest events (for my 6 yo)
