Not only diesel cars but petrol cars. Well maintained and pristine cars scrapped because of Khans Ill thought out idea and not thought all the way through. Bann from city centres but not travel within the South and North Circular road. Many people will just not be able to buy new cars. Which render them house bound. Ever tried carrying shopping on any London bus route?

This appears to be a case of bad driving and not looking when pulling out in front of moving traffic and not speeding

"People had a vote, they were offered two options by the council and all day parking narrowly pipped it." We voted by a majority of 64% for all day parking for the same reason as you did and we were told we could not have it. We were offered no options. Why do the Council then say we always listen to the majority vote in all their consultations and then refuse what people want. Why?

We are having to have a CPZ, problem is it only operates 11-1 pm. We are slap bang in the middle of your CPZ which operates 0830-1830. Where do you think the parking will go. Our street. Glad you are enjoying your CPZ.

former East Dulwich councillor - how can I help?

DKH CPZ Consultation Hi Sally, > The next step is the formal Traffic Management > Order which is effectively a formal public > consultation. Do you have any dates when this meeting will take place. Southwark does not answer to the request. Many thanks -

This is why the 11-2 CPZ for Chadwick Road will not work. All surrounding roads are 0830-1830 hours. Upper Chadwick will become an island surrounded by all day CPZ's. Chadwick is already is a parking haven for vehicles you have mention above, although we can also add in vehicles left parked up by local garages. Life will still be the same with no resident parking. If you have to go out hoping there will be parking when you come back. As 64% of residents voted for all day parking they should have their wishes respected. Please refer to jimlad48 comments earlier in the thread. Your comment many many vans parked up over night means they do not have to move until almost midday, then move and come back until the next day. Southwark should listen to residents, will they, I doubt it.

Thanks for confirming this. Not only Grove Park but Chadwick Road also plus all surrounding roads. The whole area is to be a CPZ. Up for consultation decision by Cabinet Member but already decided only needs to be rubber stamped. The whole area is now choked with pushed out commuter cars. Move and you never get back Then East Dulwich area is next

All the warning signs are up, traffic wardens are patrolling and handing out tickets. I saw 6 on McNiel Road last week. On the only 6 cars on the road. The warden is just riding around just looking to pounce. 2 weeks ago we did not have a problem, now we have a massive problem. If it is not in operation as you seem to think perhaps Southwark should cover all the signs up and refund the parking fines. Take a ride around on your bike and take a look.

Camberwell Grove rail bridge consultation

After serving the local community for more years than I can remember Mr Patel's, as he is locally known. will be forced to close his newsagents shop due to the rent being put up to unaffordable levels. Bellenden Road as a current "fad road" has not helped local business once their leases come up for renewal. Loss of a very local and much loved business. I wish him well and thank him for all the past years he has served the community. He/Wife will be missed.
