This one keeps on popping up though and who's opinion do I think matters? The professionals; http://www.betting-portal.com/next-premiership-manager-to-be-sacked-the-sack-race-odds/ I lose track of the number of ways we find to make ourselves a joke.

On a very active motorbike forum I used to go on the collective might decided to have a pop at someone in a humourous kind of way who'd been asking about whether he shoud finally ask a girl out. Within about 15 minutes as I recall, just from regular information and facts he'd posted which were by no means what you'd say over revealing, his real name, place of work and phone number were posted along with a decent guess at his reg number and home address. The girl it was just her home address. The thread got pulled by admin at that point highly unusualy on a basically self moderating forum but this wasn't any great forensic scientist group, just a bunch of posters. Made me a bit more careful anyway.

I think reading that above it's maybe a couple of weeks old as Wardle's gone as we know and there's no reference to Kompany siging of today (I believe). My understanding on Corluka (who'd be a great signing for Spurs by the way) is that Spurs did their end of the paperwork and City didn't do theirs so Spurs may well be kicking off on misrepresentation. Add that to FIFA looking at us missing a payment for Elano, players being told to go shopping rather than play against Milan without the manager being told and our chairman being a potential subject of an extradition warrant and hey, I'd rather be back going to league games in division three against Wycombe, Southend, Gillingham etc. And I just read this lot - Thaskin Shinawatra is preparing to stand down from the board of Manchester City under pressure from the Premier League's 'fit and proper person' test. City confirmed on Friday night that financially-stricken Thaksin is currently trying to sell part of his stake in the club as he looks for funds to bolster the efforts of manager Mark Hughes in the transfer market. In an extraordinary interview, City executive chairman Garr Cook admitted that the controversial Thai politician is 'embarrassed' about the controversy he has attracted and is preparing to step down as the Barclays Premier League continue to examine whether he meets their guidelines for ownership. From here http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1048398/8216-Embarrassed-8217-Thaksin-resign-Manchester-City-stake.html?ITO=1490 via this http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+League/Manchester+City , just for the avoidance of doubt that I don't read the Daily Mail!!

As a City fan this would just be par for the course really. 7's for basically anything ludicrous involving us is a bit mean I'd say...

(Apologies to everyone else) I'm going to have my tea!

Well Siduhe and I just got well and truly beaten there by Melbourne Gr, more practice I fear. I can't explain how we got it to work, one thing we did do was set the Wii to a fixed IP well away from the other devices on our network of which there are many. Firewall was on and seemed OK but we were hosting if that makes a difference. Thanks for the game, and thanks for going easy on the last race...!

WE'RE LOSING!!!

IT'S WORKING!!!

One last try, I'll create a room now having rebooted the router, fixed ip address etc etc, if anyone's able to join then great, if not.... I'll just lose to Siduhe at home.

We're getting error codes from WFC which suggest the router isn't happy - about to change the IP address for the Wii as suggested on some online help, back in 5. I'm guessing the non Wii people are just looking on in jealous awe at the moment....

Locale - new Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
ruffers replied to Marco's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
We went there last night, no great original comments to add.. Food - decent. Had calamari starters and a cold meat (wooden) plate thing, both good. Mains were lamb for me which was pretty good, pasta with sausage ragu for Mrs ruffers which also went down well, followed by a couple of decent puds not forgetting a bottle of wine. So, good, decent, pretty good etc. In other words not special but perfectly fine for a neighbourhood Italian. If it was priced like a local Italian then all would be good, it's just that it came in maybe a tenner or so over what we were expecting. Service was mixed or shall we say charmingly ramshackle? Lovely enthusiastic waitress brought our wine and water while someone else was also attempting to bring our wine and water. The someone else told us we really shouldn't have our bottle of Syrah chilled which gives rise to a couple of issues - 1) I like it a bit chilled, 2) The menu suggested trying it chilled Once I'd pointed 2) out he backed down, somewhat reluctantly. Will probably go again but not in a rush and will keep it simple. -
Si Mangia - Itialian Restaurant on Forest Hill Road

We went the other night and enjoyed it, it is what it is. Food is fine, atmosphere is good, we enjoyed it and will go back. In other words don't expect the very finest in cuisine but decent value at seven or eight quid for a main. Not somewhere I'd particularly recommend for a romantic dinner as EDDW suggest but not disastrous by any stretch of the imagination. -
I trust Kwik Fit is doing repairs on these tyres and not ripping you off for a new one every time ::o

Should someone be building Noah's Ark in SE22?
ruffers replied to Scylla100's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/subjects/flood/ if that's any help SE22 should basically be OK. Living up the hill on the Upper East Side I'm smugly confident though:)). -
Vehicle Crime In Dulwich Village

What LostThePlot and others said; remove as much as you can of any temptation to break in - glove box open, sign saying nothing in there, stereo out, the lot. As for not telling the police I'm not sure about that. Are they breaking in the car ie breaking a window or is it more of a coathanger job? -
meimeiloh Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I've actually bought and live in one of the flats > in DKH! > Good to hear that the finish is what they promised. When I looked at them it was still a building site, hard hats and all and the projected spec looked great. Same as siduhe though, I was told one price and then it was another which at the time seemed high - how many flats are occupied now?

Start making a record of the times of the noise for a start. I think the plice would say "environmental health" even if you did call them so it might just be you need to stay up for a bit. Are they being noisy?

Missed this, hope it went well. What are your ongoing opening hours?

That's what I was thinking, before moving here I was behind the Tesco on OKR, it was a strange night if there was't one circling overhead.

As well as actual attacks it is as much the fear of them, even if they as is the outcome in the vast majority of cases don't actually happen.

Not smart, graffiti attracts more graffiti just as tipping attracts more tipping. If there's a general outbreak of graffiti in the area I'll blame Arsenal ;-)
