  1. But if you're on Court Lane, or Melbourne Grove.....?
  2. I got rid of two hundred plus cds a while back on music magpie. Do it to make money and you'll be sorely disappointed. Have the mindset that you've got them all ripped anyway and /or they're on Spotify, and someone is giving you a few quid to make space in your house and everything is OK.
  3. I went to see Bill and Ted this afternoon to say goodbye, seven of us in there. Staff were great in there and I'm not just saying that because they were giving the popcorn away. Two or three ads at the start celebrating the return of cinema hadn't aged very well. Good luck to the staff.

  5. Wearing masks is, let's be honest, not a problem at all. In your shoes I'd encourage everyone to wear them whether you think they're a good idea, it's one less bit of hassle..
  6. Came down and watched for a few minutes tonight, good to see. Thinking fifty two is pushing it a bit for a first timer..., 🤔
  7. I think he was just playing to a cliche Sue - although I've never been in the Family Room so I don't know!
  8. Longer film, and the forum gets a mention.... https://www.instagram.com/tv/CD1q2sbl82U/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  9. Film here of the site. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDvvf0lFAK4/?igshid=1olysuirvikps
  10. "Eventually" - how long is that exactly?

  12. Signed. This is an opportunity for the estate to actually do something positive by doing virtually nothing, let's hope they take it. Might be worth getting a Councillor involved? I'm very local and if you're improving an eyesore, which you are, then crack on.
  13. Found a fairly decent piece of audio equipment in the middle of the park this morning. Let me know if you've lost something...
  14. As a motorcylist who is also encouraged to filter to the front of a queue I find myself not far away from cyclists a lot of the time. Not long ago I realised we're all friends. Look people in the eye, say "After you", and for me most importantly realise this isn't a race. The OP's first point of looking is so important. Bikers call it a lifesaver - even with mirrors never swing out or move arounnd without a little check over the shoulder. If you can't manage that comfortably practise, powered two wheeler or pedal. Also never think you're too good to not need more training...
  15. Might be a robot
  16. What happens in your house re deadspots etc is nothing to do with bb connection no? 2 separate questions.
  17. The pub I chatted to today wants nothing to do with this independence day nonsense and will close at 8 to avoid trouble. "Ludicrous idea to do this on a Saturday."
  18. There'll need to be signage though surely?

  20. Can I just ask the citizens of Melbourne Grove if there's anything else they'd like?
  21. I had tickets for the Gala festival this weekend... Ah well... Will find a cheeky few sets and use my imagination. Looks like Andrew Weatherall was booked. Now that is a loss.

This feels worse than > before this global crisis. And I personally have had this problem on Wood Vale, Melford Road in fact all my local roads. Can we close them too please? Almost everyone can say this James, it's no argument.
  23. Can someone tell me what is so spoecial about Melbourne Grove? There are many many pavements, I'd hazard "most" in SE22 which are too narrow for social distancing, this is opportunistic nonsense at shoving their share of traffic onto someone else. The feedback mechanism is a joke if they're only interested in the views of the people on that road specifically also. Seriously, the council spend time and money on this? Wow. Just...wow.
