  2. Got my tickets last night. Well organised queue - went in and thought I might be there an hour, was out in just over half that.
  3. Sainsburys have plenty of fancy dress nonsense.

As another shareholder and also trust member I echo this 100% and I know we're not the only ones.
  5. "Participating London Boroughs are: Barnet, Brent, Bromley, Camden, City of London, Croydon, Enfield, Greenwich, Hackney, Haringey, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow, Kingston, Lambeth, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham, Newham, Kensington and Chelsea, Redbridge and Wandsworth." Thanks Southwark, as ever.
  6. Priority for season ticket and trust members, fair enough. Shareholders? Will they have to segregate this game? I'm assuming no but in the details it does say "Any Away fans found to have gained entry with a Home ticket will be removed from the ground." And (more importantly) will we still be able to have a drink by the pitch.....? Questions questions!!
  7. Interesting. I ride a motorbike every day but am genuinely tempted by a decent electric assisted bike... Just to throw that in the mix! I'll stick with the 650 bike for now though, if only for weekend rides to the coast.
  8. Ride in to work every day, have done for even more than 20 years.. kford speaks the truth on all fronts. My tuppence would suggest not buying a little 50cc just in case you were thinking of it, get something with a bit more oomph if you can.
  9. Good point. People moving in can only by what's for sale after all.
  10. Re the mirrors - Any motorcycling training talks about checking mirrors all the time, but drills you to never mover out into traffic, move right, or basically do anything without a last second check over the shoulder. It's called a lifesaver. Given how much more vulnerable people are on bikes I'd be following that example.
  11. That is pretty low from the property management company. I had a similar thing recently where my motorbike was knocked over parked next to work. I wanted to claim direct against the driver and not bother with insurance for fear of losing no claims etc so asked the buidling for cctv. They gave it me but blurred out the number. They did say though if my insurance had approached them they wouldn't have blurred it. In the end I reported it to the police and the guy was taken to court for leaving the scene. Not sure how that helps but it may be going through insurance would work for you.
  12. What is Sylvesters?

  15. BT now enclose a freepost bag to put your old one in to send back for recycling when you upgrade. Which is nice.

I go to week 6 then twisted my knee, but will get back on it. It does work and using the app combined with music I was able to do it. Bit hot to start again right now though.
  17. If you live near the Horniman then Forest Hill / East Croydon / Gatwick as everyone else says. Easy. Bit more awkward coming back especially in the evening as the trains never sync and you have to hang around at East Croydon. I often cab it from there.

  19. Too many bad memories?
  20. Looks good, times change and it can't stay as is. My own personal favourite memory is the Jerk Cookout around 2009 (?), the jerk aroma drifted all through the area, happy days..

  22. That didn't take long.
  23. Cockfosters then.
  24. Genuis? It is Mornington Crescent though, assuming Burlington Original rules.
