Er, sorry to interrupt, but for clarification there needs to be two defending players.

I'd like to see them all have a big red ribbon on, then simultaneously and ceremonially opened.

Maybe someone should tell TJ?

I thought you were too, but then I'm not sure if I'm allowed on this thread as I don't have kids at the school. I've driven down that road though so fingers crossed eh? :))

As that's my money you're attempting to claim from the council may I suggest you slow down and drive more carefully? Tongue slightly in cheek, but only slightly.

Nigel de Jong speaks the truth - ""I went for the ball and got the opponent at the end. "I had no evil intent. If the ball is between me and the opponent, you have to go in full. If you do not then the opponent takes you. "And if you're scared in a game you get injured yourself." Wasn't talking about Arsenal, but may as well have been.

I assumed you hadn't realised as you brought in the fact women play it to a thread about Arsenal not being up to the physical challenge. hth. And re Patrick Barclay - the key words in this sentence for me - "What we saw yesterday for me was completely unacceptable in the same way as it was unacceptable when Martin Taylor inadvertently, accidentally broke Eduardo's leg," are indavertently and accidentally. Sh?t happens in a contact sport. I broke a lad's leg in schools football. I got my collar bone broken in schools rugby. We either accept these things can happen, or turn football into a non contact sport and that prospect fills me with horror.

Are the cd's just plain rubbish and the pc's objecting?

At which point that is a woman's game. When men play it's a man's game.

Seems to me Arsenal need to beware the self fulfilling prophesy as well, going into a game thinking "They're gonna kick me", "they're bigger and stronger than me" can't be a good thing.

We used to get bus passes if the journey was more than three miles. Up to that was walking distance.

What else are you doing when they get distorted? I know when I ripped some of my cd's and carried on doing other stuff at the same time on a somewhat underpowered pc the resulting mp3 has bursts of distortion from other activities.

I stood on the Kop once wearing a Man City shirt..... under several layers. Needless to say I didn't have to suppress any cheers at all as City got nowhere near scoring.

They're not supposed to be smooth and comfy though to be fair, they're supposed to make people slow down!

Witnesses to large pothole at jnct Nigel Rd & Peckham Rye
ruffers replied to TimMac's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Extended period of freezing and wet snow combined to let a lot of water in, which freezes. As has been said umpteen times they're being filled in, I see crews every day working on them and I'm sure they're working through them as fast as they can although I'm sure the councillor has a schedule. -
Atila Reincarnate Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How do you know he has? It hasn't been reported in > the press either way. The fact that he called > Shawcross has. Brilliant. If something's not been reported that's worth getting all agitated it hasn't happened. Arsenal as it happens are indeed one of the most fouled against teams in the Premiership. They have more possession so it's fairly logical it seems, even if they're not being targeted. They're second most fouled as it goes. Most fouled? The victims which are Hull City.
