  1. Ok here he is: Mine is the Brown one. And with one of my cats.
  2. Daizie - my Hannibal is not one for the ladies, so I think he'll be happy as Larry! I can't afford a dog walker - I take him out in the morning early, so he does get a walk, but I feel bad leaving him all day/ I thought someone who wants a dog, but doesn't have the space/money etc could borrow mine a few days a week or something.
  3. I suppose that would depend on how you measure success. If having happy, balanced children who care about their relationships with other people is how you measure success then I'd question the success of the private school system.
  4. I love my dog but feel terrible that I have so little time for him due to work. I leave my house at 8am and got back after 10pm last night and went straight to bed. This is not unusual and I feel that it's not fair on my dog to be stuck in my house all day during the week. I take him out before I leave for work but 40 minutes round the park in the whole day is not enough. Does anyone with time on their hands want to share my dog? He is nearly 4 yrs old, is castrated and chipped. Is good with kids and other dogs and loves being made a fuss of. PM me if you think you'd like to share my dog. Thanks
  5. Walk in the Himalayan foothills. That would be a pretty good thing to do before I kick it, or trek on a horse accross Canada.
  6. Lol, you could always follow them! LM, sorry to hear you were seriously stalked when you were so young, the police didn't take things like that very seriously back then. I think things have moved on a lot since those times and if it were now you would be able to get him nicked quite easily (or set your hubby on him!). I wasn't trying to be insensitive, but there are different levels of stalking, and the person who is obsessed with me isn't a threat, she is just annoying. It's still weird obsessive behaviour but not on the same level as you went through. Hope I haven't brought back any nightmares xx
  7. Get back down to ten stone!
  8. Lol, that still counts, Rosie. It's just getting a bit irritating now, but hey ho, that's life.
  9. Thinking back, maybe it wasn't a fox who strew my chickens' innards all over my garden!
  10. It's not serious, just wierd. Sorry to hear you had a serious one Rye, that must have been frightening. I did have a crazy ex-bf send me death threats and stuff when I was young - I had to get him nicked - that was scary.
  11. I'd put her at 3. She will probably be reading this and hopefully a glint of shame will penetrate her delusional world. If not she may just move up to a 4 or 5, lol! I'm a bit bored, so a bitch fight would be a welcome distraction.
  12. I have a stalker, I know who she is and she has been obsessed with me for well over a decade, but I find it amusing that she wastes so much of her time and energy obsessing about me. Should I withdraw into the shadows, or let this sad creature continue to live vicariously through me??

I hope they're ok. They looked like they were in their 30's and well able to handle themselves when it first kicked off. Both looked about 14-15 stone or so.
  14. Thewinglessxbird, how can you make sweeping generalisations about an area that people live and feel loyalty to, without expecting an argument. You have a very strange attitude for someone living in an urban area and if you do ever feel that you are targetted in some way when walking in 'scary' areas, it may well be your attitude that attracts that kind of unwanted attention. I go to Peckham almost every day and have never been harrassed, molested, attacked, mugged etc, and unless you are a youth, or your attitude stinks, then you are very unlikely to have any of these things happen to you either.
  15. I was in Peckham with my daughters when it happened. We saw the beginning of it in the Pink nail and hair shop by the No 12 bus stop. We didn't hang about because we had to get our pedicure further up the road but it spilled out onto the street and there was a massive crowd around the women who were fighting. I didn't see the actual bottling, but the road was cordoned off by the police and no-one could go through for about 40 minutes or so. There was no ambulance that I could see by the time the road was cordoned off, (but it seems I might have missed that), so maybe their wounds may not have been as serious as they might have looked. After the road was opened back up, the CSI guys were around for quite a while with bags of evidence and police stayed in the area for a few hours questioning people. I saw Jaws down there too before all of this kicked off, so Silverfox, you nasty piece of work, I think you owe her an apology.

  17. That is horrible. The original post is pretty gross. It could have been written a bit more sensitively. I hope I never have any public tragedy with ABC in the vicinity.
  18. I wondered why my ears (or should that be eyes?) were burning! I will be able to help if any of you have issues with your visas or asylum claims, but not sure I'd win anything else! Always willing to try tho!
  19. I can't believe my taxes are already being used to pay for something like this. I didn't know that the NHS paid for homeopathic sugar pills. I think that's outrageous when other services have been cut. If someone wants to waste their own money on that crap then that's up to them, but I am angry that my money is being spent on something that is a total waste of time and has no proven benefit to anyone other than the homeopaths. I will lobby against the homeopathic industry trying to put their hands in my pocket.
  20. Unfortunately he has a gorgeous wife and a baby on the way - but seeing as this is just a drooling competition, maybe he will oblige us with a photo to leer at!!
  21. Got to say that the hottest EDF-er is Brendan by a long shot -(sorry Brendan, I promise I won't pinch your bum or anything!) and there are a couple of decent seconds who I won't embarrass myself by naming but I must say that the ED pickings are a bit meagre!

Why? Are you of the opinion that East Dulwich is more needy than other areas of Southwark, or do you not really give a toss as long as your area gets the dough?
  23. I think a change is as good as a rest - the LibDems are complacent and the Tories scary - so let's see if Labour can do anything better at a local level next time (or Green?)
  24. Ohh, much better, thank you Charlies!
