I lived on the Rockingham Estate for over 20 yrs and I hate to say it, but the poeple there who wanted more for their kids and their community were generally not white Londoners. I don't know why they lacked ambition or politocal understanding, but most of them were more interested in eastenders, slagging off their neighbours and moaning about foreigners. I was used to a more politicaly active working class up north, so I found it difficult to understand why they were so lazy. These are massive generalisations, because there were the same types of people up north, but even amongst the theives and junkies up north, you would get people with political understanding and a desire to change things. Tony and Steve remind me of the worst type of white, ex-working class Londoners.

Plus the only reason I stil have a council place - is because I didn't sell out my political beliefs and buy it. So when I move out it will go to another family in need, not the private housing market.

I got my law degree in 2007. I was foul mouthed since 1979.

I hate saying anything negative about anyone, but I just couldn't keep my opinions on these two to myself anymore. When I came to London from Merseyside after the econimic destruction wreaked by Maggie, I got the same taking our jobs and homes shit, when most of the working class, white Southerners I encountered where work shy, bigotted, lazy tw@ts. I've never managed to stomache their crap long enough to date one. They put me off white guys for over twenty years. Steve and Tony are prime examples of why most of my friends are non-white - or not British. I'm actually warming to some of the middle class whites down here, after discovering they are not all biggoted arseholes like some of the working class ones down here are. I work as an aylum and immigration lawyer and I know what they are spouting is total shit, others have given them facts that show that what they are saying is untrue, but in the face of facts to the contrary, they continue to believe negative crap about migrants and asylum seekers - if that's not racism I don't know what is. What pisses me off more than anything is the fact that my granddad and my father fought for all the rights of working class people from the start of the Labour movement, that enabled Tony and Steve to get a fu(king leg up in the first place, and from their now elevated position, off the backs of people like my granddad and father, they think they can look down on others trying to better their lives. Go and crawl back under your stone you bunch of twats.
