    Great Gigs

Going to see [the] Doves at the forum tomorrow night. Looking forward to it.
  2. I disagree. I think instability has played a massive part in our season and I think it's more than coincidental that all these good things are happening at once (Torres and Gerrard returning to fitness at the same time has obviously contributed). The proof, I guess will be in the pudding but I imagine we'll be a lot more consistent from here on in. That will of course be dependent on what happens with the owners. Although I'm guessing that may have been decided too, as the rumour was that Rafa wouldn't sign until he knew who was staying/coming in.
  3. In Rafa we trust So pleased about this I can't tell you. :)-D Finally some stability, wonder how different our season would have been if this happened 3 months ago.
  4. 29 in April :'(
  5. I read it as "got" married in 2 weeks too.
  6. ::o
  7. Just one more then http://fc53.deviantart.com/fs44/f/2009/073/5/5/Steven_Gerrard_GOOAL_by_heatherlump.gif
  8. Okay, I'll carry on then. ;-) Look at all those empty seats - more than half the United fans (won't call it support, because it wasn't) had left before the final whistle. In all seriousness though, hate it when people gloat. I thought we could turn them over, but I never expected. 1-4!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Sorry, sorry, sorry, but........ http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/images5/man_utd_scoreboard.jpg I'll leave it now Sandperson and Red devil, however yesterday was just immense. United will have to royally **** up if they go on to lose the league now, but it's given us a glimmer of hope.
  10. His fued with BBC is apparently due to the things that were said about his son. He refused to speak to Sky yesterday though. Think that there's a stipulation on the contract that says someone has to do a post match interview, but it doesn't have to be the manager. He was properly slated on SSN this morning for disappearing after a loss.
  11. Back on to good and funny football songs, Rooney (deservedly so) got quite a bit of stick yesterday. "Once a blue, always a Manc" and " Your hero is Scouse, you 2-faced bar stewards, your hero is Scouse", were two of my favourites. >:D<
  12. I didn't see the post, but I can probably guess what it was about. :( It really saddens me when I hear these songs at/around football matches. I will never condone that behaviour and will walk away from it if I hear it. Whether it's the away fans hissing at the Spurs lot, songs about Munich, Hillsborough or Heysel it shouldn't be tolerated and is not what our game is about. You'd be daft if you wore colours walking in to Old Trafford, so when on the way to the match it's not obvious who you support. It drove me mad to be surrounded by people, some with young children, chanting murderers and the 3 times song. I'm not saying our lot are innocent either, but it is extremely unpleasant. We have two main rules for football songs. Don't sing about a team you're not playing and NEVER sing about things such as those listed above. By all means have a bit of banter, but don't stoop to the gutter.
  13. This is bloody hilarious! :)) "Where's me Rafa goatee?"
  14. :)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D:)-D What a great day out. First trip to Old Trafford so I must be lucky.
  15. Any predictions for today then?

  17. I often heat it too. Can we lay down some stingers?
  18. Have seen it now and I agree - it was never a penalty. I really don't think it influenced the match. We nullified Real Madrid and had it not been for Casillas, we could have put a few more past them.
  19. Yes the league is the holy grail and what we want the most. HOWEVER! Everyone on here wrote us off earlier - yet we beat Real Madrid 5-0 on aggregate. Credit where credit is due.
  20. TLS - do one!! ;-) pen or not (didn't see it was in the kop) we were immense tonight and made them look shite. Am a VERY happy girl. (tu) 4-0!!! Get in.
  21. A bit like this season's away kit then. (I think you mean late 80's anyway)
  22. There is nothing else.
  23. Skiing. None for me this season though. :(
  24. What Keef said. It seems to me that whenever someone makes a comment about a United player or Fergie, the only response we get from the manc supporters is a nasty swipe at a Liverpool or Arsenal player. Why not defend them?
  25. Ronaldo is the boy who cried wolf. Sometimes he is justified in his histrionics and others he's just play acting. Because of that, sometimes things just won't go his way. Rodney but Lionel, but he only has himself to blame. Oh how I laughed on Sunday when he was booked for "that" dive/tackle. An amazing footballer, but once of the most arrogant that has ever graced a football pitch. I think the "you're ugly" response was probably one of the worst things that Taylor could have said to him.
