  1. I'll see what I can do Jah. Hmmm, not sure if I like this geek label... ;-)
  2. This topic has made me laugh, I've noticed two (sort of) references to the Lord of the Rings and assumed that this is what it would be about.... The first one - Prancing Pony. That's the name of the Inn in the Fellowship of the Ring. Habit forming - because I was in LOTR mode, I read that as hobbit forming. I don't know what I'm on either.... :-S (Welcome GEO - Watch out for Orcs and Nazgul. :))
  3. If you suffer with altitude sickness, the only immediate cure is to get to a lower altitude. I know that is obvious, but I know a couple of people who suffer and when they are ill that is the only way to get relief. I'm not an expert, but would assume that the only way to prevent it is to acclimatise yourself to being that far above sea level.
  4. Thanks for well wishes everyone. :)-D Am now off to get drunk. :))
  5. What is it with men and boobs? I've never really understood it all.....

  7. It might be. :-$:)
  8. Happy Birthday to Rafa :)-D (who incidentally is exactly 20 years older than me)

Cheers everyone :)-D I'll look forward to that Keef, when's it happening? ;)
  10. The Sandon, Anfield :))
  11. I need to drive up to Liverpool tomorrow, collecting a friend in Muswell hill. I was going to go over London Bridge and through the city at about 7.30 am, but I'm not sure it will be possible. Does anyone know which roads will be closed. I've tried looking on the marathon website, but can't really tell if that route will be affected.

That aside, how common is divorce these days? I reckon some people could be sharing experiences... :)
  13. Yep, that's why I don't predict and say that I think we'll win. It always bites me on the arse. It was a joke!
  14. Woohoo - next year I must pay more attention!
  15. It says "if" - not when.... *pokes tongue out smiley*
  16. If we beat Chelsea again in the semis, does that mean we get to keep them? >:D
  17. Agreed, I'd be the same Ratty but each to their own. I don't think he'd be tolerated for long in the Kop. There is loads of stuff going on behind the scenes about how support should be shown but that's another story. Some of it makes sense, but some of it is ridiculous.
  18. and how on earth could you spend ?500 in Primark?? You end up with almost the whole shop. ;-)

John "Portsmouth Football Club" Westwood, is the fella with the bell. Quite a few of the lads who work in our Farnborough office are from Pompey and they know him quite well. He is quite a celebrity from what I can gather. I was sat quite close to him for England v Russia game at Wembley and to be honest he did my head in, but he's good for rousing a crowd. :))
  20. A lucky escape for me this time, I think (not really in any). I do need a hair cut though.... :-S
  21. Sometimes I think I should be careful what I wish for. Unlucky last night EDF Gooners. What an amazing game. :))
  22. I doubted my football team *shakes head*
  23. Good Luck tonight you Gooners. May the best team win. :)-D
