  1. Babel was fantastic against West Ham last week, I was surprised (but not really) when Benitez didn't start him on Saturday. If we get the first goal, I'll be happy. But we never make it easy for ourselves.
  2. Nerves aren't great to be honest Keef. As per usual, I will not be making any predictions..... However, if G&T play with the understanding that they did on Saturday, well who knows :)) I can't believe the tosser know as Hicks released that statement last night. Nothing like going in to the game on a positive note. The sooner he is gone the better. I don't think it's the last we'll hear of the DIC/Yanks saga mind you. Squad looks good for tonight. Mascher is back and when he plays Gerrard and Torres can do their thing, without Stevie having to worry too much about tracking back. Not sure if we'll miss Alonso or not - babies eh!! Who'd have em?
  3. Cheers Keef - although to be fair Annafield might have clicked a little quicker..... ;-)
  4. I have been up to Anfield four times this season, witnessed 14 goals, a Torres hat-trick and watched only one get passed Reina.:)) Beginning to think I bring them good luck. ;-) What a great day, Utd out the FA Cup, Chelsea out too and was witness to 3 fantastic goals at Anfield. Here's to the toffees dropping 3 points this arvo. Come on you Black Cats :)-D
  5. If we're talking youngsters, keep your eyes peeled for Krisztian Nemeth. We signed him last year and I imagine he will be breaking through to our first team in the not so distant future. I often watch the reserve games and he is outstanding.
  6. Cheers for that ED Angst :-S Haven't even looked at my team since October (I think). Shocking form - oh well, I'm currently second in the work one and that's worth ?500.>:D<
  7. Yippee! :)-D Hope the trip on Saturday is as satisfying:))
  8. Ha ha, sometimes there's a bit of broken glass, but I've never seen flying chairs etc.
  9. I live very close to the Castle and whenever I wonder past the usually have the footy on.
  10. Don't feel victimised - they do it to every team. Build em' up and knock em' down. FFS - Good job I'm not at work today. One line edited twice.
  11. Well as the Castle is out, I'm going for the CPT. Sean, Keef - Meet you in the Castle for a sly one on the way down? ;-)
  12. If I knew you weren't going to be a smug gooner, I'd see you there. ;-)
  13. I imagine the CPT will be showing it
  14. Isn't this supposed to be the "East Dulwich" forum >:D
  15. I've been in Castle on a few occasions now, mainly with my housemate (who is also female). We have never felt threatened before, so find that quite surprising. Each to their own I guess - if every pub was the same it would be quite boring.
  16. I am going up for the game, so I clearly hope that you're wrong. We shall see :))

  19. Quite harsh there DPF - When were you last in there?
  20. I think that Keef was going with the idea of a "spit and sawdust" type pub, which the Castle clearly is.
  21. I'd be up for the CPT :)-D
  22. I for one don't mind where it is as long as I can walk home (and feel safe). Not quite sure that the Montpellier is even ED? Correct me if I am wrong.

Oooh - I wondered why I got home at a semi-reasonable hour. As lousy as it was that our night was cut short, I dread to think what my hangover would have been like had I stayed out longer.
  24. So many "celebs" these days are quick to moan about their treatment by the press and general public. However without this in their lives they wouldn?t have any fame. For that reason they have none of my sympathy. Prince Harry on the other hand is a different matter. No matter what anyone says, he has had no choice in terms of his fame and for his entire life he has been pestered by anyone who recognises him. All of his antics have been pasted across the news, with horrendous things said about his family be they true or not. Imagine your own Mother being killed in a car accident when you were his age. That alone must have been horrific without having a constant reminder of what happened and peoples' thoughts on her previous behaviour. FFS he?s a twenty something lad trying to live his life. How many times has the average lad been a bit pissed and fallen out of a nightclub or smoked a bit of weed. He's only trying to do what the average 22 (?) year old lad would do. I think he should be given a break.
  25. Ha ha Atila - you reminded me of that picture that was sent round of Arsene dressed as Le Chef.
