  1. I am sooooo excited.
  2. I have a question for you fellas too! We know now who you'd like to take on it, but where would you go? What would you do?
  3. Hmmm, I don't dispute that they are highly paid, but I do wonder where these lists come from?
  4. I reckon we'll be discussing Senor Torres quite a bit in the coming years, although I reckon we won't be knocking him for diving. What an amazing start to his first Premiership season. He's been hacked to bits, but just gets up and keeps on running.
  5. Yipee*! - beers round mine then Keef :)-D *I would also like to add that I feel sorry for Mrs Keef with all that work to do.
  6. I have nothing against Russia and would love to visit. However given the reports about the cost out there and brutality of the fans and police, I'm not sure it's the best location to hold a CL final. Add to that visas etc, it's not going to be easy to sort a trip.
  7. That's not particularly sportsman like Sandperson. :'( I've just been looking in to the CL final tickets ballot. Serves me right I guess for not reading the small stuff, but apparently: "You can, at any time during the sales process (until 19 March 2008 12:00 CET), access your personal application to cancel and/or change your order or the information you have given us. After 19 March 2008 12:00 CET you will only be able to view your order status but no changes will be accepted." Hmm, now I've yet to have confirmation that I have/haven't won - but if I can't go or don't want to go this reads as though I cannot do anything about it. In a worst case scenario, i.e. we don't qualify, I will have to find a wealthy person who wants to be there who is prepared to pay for me to go with them. According to the site - entry will only be granted to me (with my passport) and the person who has the other ticket has to be with me. Crazy! It's actually poor that UEFA allow for tickets to be allocated prior to knowing who the finalists will be. All this does is encourage touts.

Even other peoples... I don't see how I can get out of it though, so I intend to be an Aunt who when she's older thinks is cool and comes to me to escape. Ha ha!
  9. Saw that this morning. I cannot stand him and think he's a tosser, but agree with Jah. Credit were cred.... Nope can't type it.

How funny :)-D. I wasn't going to read this thread as I have no interest in kids. My cousin has asked me to be her daughter's God Mother - she clearly hasn't thought this through. I do wonder how you can decline these things......... Anyhoo, I saw that you had replied to this *Bob* and decided there would be some witty retort. I wasn't wrong.

It's been puzzling me. Roland Rat - It wasn't my favourite though, I wasn't even allowed to watch it. Just makes me laugh.
  12. If I definitely have got them and dependant on the outcome of the results, I will let you all know. Funny how confident you all are.... ;-)
  13. Assuming SimonM is correct, I wouldn't spend that much money to travel to Moscow for the wrong sort of red team. You smug Gooners would have to let me know if you want them. I'd never tout them, I'd just ask that UEFA issue them in your name and you can give me the exact amount I paid for them. :))
  14. Cheers LadyG :)). My mate's wife is Russian, so I've been pestering him all morning. I don't even know if I've got one yet, whether we'll qualify and even if all that happens I'm not sure that the purse strings would allow me to go. All that said, I think if were all to happen, I may well not even think about the debt and just bung it all on my credit card. ;-)
  15. It certainly is Sean - lets hope you don't have that inconvenience. >:D
  16. Keef - the second half was not dull, so shut it!! ;-) (Assuming it's okay with Clare, you're welcome to come to mine for the game). I think (but am not sure yet) that I have two tickets for the CL final. I entered the UEFA ballot and my account was debited this morning for two tickets. ::o.
  17. I have a question. It's not meant in a bad way but, is post count something people are proud of? :-S
  18. "Keviiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin"
  19. I told you that Mascher was innocent* This game is so corrupt! *Warning - don't watch this at work if your boss can see over your shoulder. :))
  20. the top.
  21. Bloody friendlies - apparently Torres is injured and a doubt for the derby on Sunday. Ffs.... :X

  23. I don't know if I can definitely come, but I think that some of us agreed to meet in the Castle for a swift one on the way down. :))
  24. Sandperson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > With a Scouse father-in-law it's always a > competition. Is that why you take it out on us? ;-)
  25. Blimey ? it was only a question. I thought you were going to say Surrey ;-) Since you have asked me one in return, I'll answer it. My family are from Crosby, hence my support for Liverpool. I go up to Anfield quite regularly and the games so far in 2008 include Sunderland, West Ham, Newcastle and I?m also heading up for the derby on Sunday. Not that it's a competition about who supports their club the most.......
