She dumped me at the station so I dumped her at the airport. But we'll always have Paris.

The nearest authentic Indian/Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants are probably in or around Bethnal Green but steer clear of the obvious Anglo-Indian style tourist traps along Brick Lane. One of my favourites is the Lahore (218 Commercial Road, London, E1 2JT - 0872 148 3764) but there are many similar gems that cater to the local Asian community.

Looks like everyones gone to bed? I know it's not my turn - but here's an easy one for any night owls out there - on the house. I squeezed my bosses with a bum, a great body and a monkey suit.

These same six officers are under investigation for serious corruption: allegations that they stole property during other raids (including, it is said, drugs). The case against the alleged waterboardees has been dropped so as not to compromise the corruption investigation

Ok, I've got this ancient document written in Hebrew that says G-d gave me your house, valuables and your ass. You can keep the ass, just PM me when you've vacated the premises and I'll nip over and take possession. Leave the ???? on the table. Seriously, there ain't no evidence, is there? Just wishful thinking and blind faith. Have a good holiday.

The opinions of historians, believers, priests, biblical scholars and theologians don't count as evidence, BTW.

My dearest Georgia, Please don't take my personal views about mixing kids, pubs and internet forums as in any way a criticism of your valued organisational work on the forum's behalf. I think you do an excellent job for which I am most grateful. To the group: I respect everyone?s freedom to raise their kids as they see fit - and I'll raise mine as I see fit. -

How can one apply judgement when anyone can turn up claiming to be a forumite? Not that there aren't enough overt weirdoes on the forum, but who knows what is lurking in the shadows? -

Keef No personal insult intended. I don't drink when I'm with my kids and would not contemplate taking them along to a drinking spree where they would inevitably meet and interact with comparative strangers in a setting that requires me to be non-selective about who they see me socialising with. In any event, I don't think a pub is the right place for kids. There are obvious issues here that, if one cannot perceive them, would make one concerned about their kids' safety. -

Keef said on the other thread: > I agree with Asset that it is a bit seperatist Your comment implies that you are against splitting the event. Hence my comment. It's ironic that this discussion has split across two threads.
