Don't hold your breath, and anyway 4th is about all we can hope for, 3rd is possible but unlikely, 2nd, no chance. Chavski getting stuffed by anyone is a touch, but I can't see it happening.
  3. I'm not going but I'll be there on Sunday to cheer on my son who will be playing for the Youth team in a cup final against Cray Valley
  4. What about if you think U2 are mediocre at best and have no feelings for them or the bespectacled one? Can you still post here?
  5. Choice of colours - Impressions
  6. According to various reports, Fergie refused to speak with Sky before and after the game on Saturday as he believes they are responsible for the scheduling of the game which meant Pool had one more day to prepare for the game. Is this a little like the time he blamed the colour of the away kit for the mancxs being on the wrong end of a hiding against Southampton some years back.I think he also forgot to mention the fact that there was a Y in the day, which went against them. JEEZ!!!!! And I thought Le Prof griping about Sunderlands performance against us smacked of sour grapes!!!!
  7. As are many of the Sheffield United players!
  8. Just seen Fergies comments in one the the papers, he says he thought Mancs had the better game, well I thought Le Prof was short sighted but this is ridiculous. What F**king game was he watching???
  9. Listen Anna I'd do exactly the same in your position, gloat away, and fair play to you. I don't think you'll win the league but the manner of the defeat and the scoreline will have hurt them.
  10. Why be sorry about it, England having been banging on about winning the world cup for the last 43 years!! :)) Do you think some of the mancs transient fans will be supporting someone else now? ;-)
  11. Fergie still has an ongoing feud with the BBC and he still won't play with them, until they admit that his dad is bigger than theirs.
  12. Shrek deserves everything he gets,I must say though that I would have thought Fergie would have advised against making stupid remarks like the "hate" thing and then allowing them on the club website. Talk about motivating the opposition.
  13. A message to you Rooney - If there was ever an object lesson in what not to say before a game of this magnitude, it came from the mouth of the Shrekalike, who had a piss poor game yesterday yet turned his anger on his team mates rather than taking a long hard look at himself. Wayne "always a blue" Rooney gave Liverpool the best gee up, as if they needed one, by saying how much he hated Liverpool. You'd have thought Fergie would have advised against such folly. Until Rooney curbs this unappealing trait of his he will never realise his full potential. Would love to be around when Rooney goes back to his native Liverpool to see the kind of reception he gets!! Before we all get carried away, the mancs will still win the league, it's theirs to lose. Great performance by the Arsenal yesterday. Disgusting challenge by Diouf on Almunia which should have seen him walk. He took his standing leg with studs up,which is exactly what broke Eduardos leg. Strangely the vile mound of lard that is Allardyce thought is merited just the yellow. He is a coont and no mistake. As for Pedersens "simulation" I just wonder how much of a fuss would have been made had if it had been a man in red and white. It was a disgrace.Well done to Eboue for going someway to redeeming himself.
  14. Tecnicality or not, rules is rules, and the FA and league should always be consistent, which they are not and leaves them open to the flak they get. West Ham can't gripe because they got caught, and the end of the day a breach has been committed so what more can you say, I feel for the Hammers but that's life.
  15. At the end of the day if West Ham were in the wrong then they should stump up. Having said that the FA & the league need to be consistent in their dealings which they have been unable to demonstrate thus far, one rule for you one rule for somebody else, but hey ain't that the FA/League all over?

Pip the Arsenal? Wake up and smell the humus!

  18. If players demonstrated the same passion and loyalty as their supporters, can you imagine how good the game would be???
  19. To some extent I'd agree with you but not all foreigners are mercenaries, Bergkamp knew what it was to wear the shirt, but Cashley, who is an Englishman showed just how mercenary some of our home grown players can be.

  21. Is it a Foo Fighters thing?
  22. I never thought Gallas should have been made captain in the first place, for me it should have been either Kolo because of his work ethic, or Fab, or Robin. I don't think any of the others play for the shirt in the way that Henry, Adams, Vieira, Wright, Parlour, Dixon, Winterburn, Keown, even Pires, Lungberg, Gilberto, Cashley Hole knew what pride in the shirt meant. I'm not convinced that many of the present players do and that really, really, pisses me off.
  23. My Balloons going up - Archie Bell & the Drells
  24. I have to say that on last nights performance, whoever we get in the next round will not be quaking in their boots. I hop e I'm wrong but we weren't convincing at all. But it was good to see that Eduardo had the balls to take the first pen, unlike a certian Mr. Gallas who seemed to be conspicuous by his absence, and fair play to young Theo who also didn't shirk the responsibility in a BIG away game. Bodes well for England and the Arsenal.
