  1. Better off dead - Elton John
  2. Me and you and a dog named Boo - Lobo
  3. No complex here old bean, just saying like it is, the title is yours to lose. As they say, the table doesn't lie.
  4. Are you ok - Was Not Was
  5. Silence is deafening? How strange haven't I been placing post on this thread for weeks saying the title is yours to lose? So it's not just Le Boss who has a selective memory/vision.
  6. Boris the spider - orrible ooo
  7. Taylor could have walked on another day but then so could Vidic whose "agricultural" challenge (BEEBS words not mine)in the first half.
  8. Teach me how to the philly dog - Manhattans
  9. I'm glad you have the good grace to agree
  10. Parkers histrionics were matched by Ronaldo going down clutching his face even when he had been hooked around the neck, which apparently led to handbags in tunnel at half time with Ronnie calling Taylor a rubbish player ( fair comment) and Taylor calling Ronnie ugly & spotty (touche)The thing is with Ronnie is that he has built up a bit of reputation for histrionics and simulation (stupid phrase) over the past few years so he's only got himself to blame.
  11. Win your love for me - Jackie Wilson
  12. On the subject of the ugliest players ever to walk the face of the earth: 1. The Neville Brothers 2. Martin Keown 3. Luke Chadwick 4. Ian Dowie 5. Rio Ferdinand 6. Charlie George 7. Chopper Harris That'll do for now. On the subject of last nights games How did Lucas Neil manage to stay on the pitch last night? Ronaldo - yes Taylor caught him by hooking him around the neck, but was there a sniper in the stand? The best highlights last night were the Man City game, best goal was Carlton Cole, both for execution and lead up play, great goal. Can someone please tell me why Fergie still refuses to talk to MOTD, is he still perpetuating some petty grudge from god knows when, even 'Onest 'Arry has kissed and made up with the BEEB.
  13. Gambling ads or no gambling ads, we all have a choice. Either we gamble or we don't. The fact that gambling ads or ads for alcoholic drinks, or anything else for that matter, are all around us, it doesn't necessarily follow that we have to act upon them. To blame such ads for addiction is, in my opinion, crap. It is indictactive of the "it's not my problem" mentality, which looks to apportion blame on society, the goverment, the police, the legal system, the education system anybody but not themselves. It's called not taking responsibility for your own actions.
  14. The man who sold the world - bowie
  15. I can imagine Rooney being likened to many things, most appropriately Shrek, but the Angel of the North, Nah!
  16. I can't see Mancs slipping up against the geordies. As I've said before the title is there's to lose. Liverpool and Chelski haven't got a prayer. When a bookie pays out on Mancs winning title ( yes I know they got it wrong once before) you can rest assured they know what they are doing.

  19. Jesus Matthew, that's gonna spark a hell of a response. I think you might have hit some raw nerves here.

  21. Like I said you ain't a comedian.
  22. You obviously don't work as a comedian cos you're about as funny as toothache.
  23. I didn't say that tactic was wrong, or unfair but it is the embodiment of what is wrong with the way we coach the game in this country, until we get of the mind set that sets great store by physicality and aggression at the expense of everything else, then we are in trouble, and will win FA!!!

The best thing > the FA have implemented is the 3 points for a win > rule, ensuring that mediocrity comes second best, > give me a Treble anyday... Load of Ballacks, 49 unbeaten was feat and a half, won't be topped by Man U or anbody else for that matter.
  25. If you mean aggressive as in Bolton, then I' glad we aren't. Bolton under Allardyce were the epitome with everything that is wrong with the English game, and the failure at grass roots to teach skills, technique, and vision. For too many years the ethic instilled in youg kids if graft aand aggression, and looked where we are internationally speaking at the moment. Our premier league is only the envoy of the world because of the influx and influence of foreign players, mangers, coaching methods, diet, and culture.
