  1. Where you there? Because I was, and saw how people can't judge what 2m is, if people significantly over estimate the distance, then guess what, it does lengthen the queue and makes queuing much longer, i.e. twice as long as the previous week(S). I know how long queuing took to get in.

NO, I'm not saying that at ALL.

James o'brien on LBC for three hours yet again picking holes in everything, moan, moan, moan and any opportunity to have a dig at Boris and the Govt. Rather than continually looking to find fault, why can't people like him pull together during this National emergency.

  6. Poor kid, think of all the ribbing it'll get in the future, hahahahahaha And then theirs this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40185195
  7. I find it depends who is serving, some I find are more helpful than others, but still a good resource locally bearing in mind they had to move into the current premises from a couple of doors up. Don't think it was out of choice, more a case of a greedy landlord.
  8. Started queuing at 10.50am, got into the store 11.35am, 45min wait with the queue all the way out and starting to go UP Dog Kennel Hill. SOME people are still yet to grasp the concept of what 2m actually is, rather than them thinking 2m is is akin to 8 or 10m, which results in the queue being much longer than it needs to be.
  9. You spent all day watching the junction, is that work or leisure? snowy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > dbboy Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > See what Lambeth did at Herne Hill > > station/Brockwell Park junction. 11. Yes, outgoings when shut, but much reduced. Paying outstanding invoices - er, that's what the profit they've previously made in the past and should have put aside for "rainy days" should cover. If they haven't and can't, then their business model is questionable.
  12. They've widened the pavement leading up too Herne Hill from Dulwich, hence reducing the road width which in turn will create longer traffic waiting at the lights.
  13. See what Lambeth did at Herne Hill station/Brockwell Park junction. Won't be going anywhere near there with the extended traffic queues that will create.
  14. What are they ACTUALLY going to do with any money raised ?
  15. How can you even ask such a crass question about a murdering, megalomaniac, Nazi dictator who had millions killed in atrocious circumstances in his name? Admin - surely this cannot be allowed, it's offensive and beyond the realms of anything reasonable.
  16. If it was a "puff grow" and its been busted, in my book that's a good thing, another group of criminals put out of business.
  17. Suggest you ask either one of the local councillors or Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group, one or the other may be able to provide you with the answer you seek, but don't hold your breath.
  18. What in heavens name do you intend to do with 60 eggs? They've a shelf life of about 7 - 10 days MAX.
  19. When you eventually catch CV 19, can't breath and subsequently die, don't moan, because you didn't follow the guidance. The guidance wasn't published for fun, theirs a very good reason why it's been put out. AS of TODAY, 28,000+ people in the UK have died from covid 19. Stay at Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives. It's really not difficult to understand.
  20. Blah, Blah said "Asia and parts of Africa already have the trained personnel in place. The West does not. We think we are untouchable. That science will find the answers we need instantly. That pandemics happen somewhere else. That mindset needs to change, and change fast". I totally agree with you Blah Blah - the West looked at Asia and Africa and thought i) we're unprepared But ii) it won't happen to us. No one thought that there would be another world pandemic, it happened in 1918 with the Spanish flu. In Africa there was Ebola but it didn't spread worldwide. Well Covid 19 arrived and guess what - they were wrong, wrong, wrong and now the rest of the world are paying a huge cost through the substantial number of deaths of their citizens. Here in the UK it is said the peak has been, yesterday on radio someone said the final number of deaths could be as many as 40,000. That's 40,000 deaths, 40,000 funerals, 40,000 grieving families, that's ?????? family and friends affected and that's just the UK. Now add the rest of the world to that, the figures extrapolate and become hUgE. Is Covid 19 fact or fiction, you've seen the figures, you make up your mind, clearly it's damn real.
  21. Remind me - how many people have died from covid 19 in the UK, Europe, the rest of the world and you ask if it's real, it's damn real. What do you think killed them? Think pneumonia, multiply the effects by 1000, gasp for air till you can't breath anymore, with the virus firstly attacking your lungs and then any weakness it can find in any of your other organs, the virus slowly and methodically "strangles" you till you be dead, dead, dead. If you knew of someone who had died from it or had a relative who had been infected or died, would you be STUPID enough to even raise the question.
  22. Probably not high up on a list of priorities given we're in the middle of a world pandemic!!!
  23. here we go again, it's so easy to find fault, suppose you'd like a different Govt, now let me guess what that may be??? Rather than being negative, how about everyone coming together for the national good. You, me, no one knows how long this lock down will go on for. It's about stopping the NHS being over whelmed, unlike other healthcare systems in other European countries, saving lives doing so by staying home and only going out when necessary. At some future date no doubt there'll be a Select Committee will scrutinise the actions of the Govt. in relation to how they handles Covid 19. Being a Minister right now, be it health, business, home, FCO or which ever one you choose is probably the hardest bit of the job they've ever had to go. None of them where trained to deal with this, they're doing the best they can based on the information given to them by the different organisations feeding into them.
