  1. One of these trouser-dropping individuals has given a local woman a serious STD. Allegedly this man is very aggressive in his approach and has shagged several other local women recently, despite being married. He has tried it on with me but I did not succumb yet - and with what I now know, I will never succumb. It is not clear whether he is deliberately spreading his STD or whether he is just reckless as to who he gives it to. It is said he claims he no longer shags his wife (which may be true). In the course of my 'investigatins' I have also stumbled across several other randy local shopkeepers who are also married and also shagging for England. Some local women are not able to even enter certain ED establishments unless accompanied by a male friend, otherwise there rogering shopkeepers will ooze into lecherous overdrive. 2. It seems I was wrong. There is not a Local shop-owning Lothario....there are several of them, all shagging wildly in and around LL. >:D
  3. The point was to find out whether he has done this to anyone else (ie to someone who frequents EDF). It seems that he has not, which is good.
  4. The person has not been identified, so no. TillieTrotter Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think we're treading on very dangerous ground > here.
  5. This individual has not had the chance to give me anything as I turned him down but I've since discovered that he's been with two local women I know and one of them now has health problems as a result. Wondering if he is purposely trying to harm people or he is just randy as hell and being reckless.
  6. It involves an individual purposely spreading a life-threatening STD, among other things.
  7. The person is putting people at risk physically but not in a way I think the cops would be able to do anything about.
  8. I don't think it's libel if what you are saying is true, and in this case it is true. However, I will not publish the man's name on here. That said, he is something of a danger for several reasons. I am astonished more of you have not had horrible run-ins with him.
  9. 10. In a way this is connected to the con woman thread. A lot of you have encountered the female scam artist. How many of you ladies have encountered the Local Lothario? He runs a local business on Lordship Lane.
  11. Agree. All this hysteria is just hilarious! 12. I agree it is a shame. But it's definitely not the end of the world. She's reportedly already been arrested and prosecuted in the past, she is 'known' to police, she is very very active and yet the police can't find her! LMAO!
  14. if you do not know said person it would definitely not be a good idea to let them into your house. I'd either tell them that unfortunately I can't help them. Or if they were especially convincing I guess I might give them a fiver. The reality is that we live in south london, it's 2009 and sadly the days of trusting strangers who come to your front door are long gone, just as the days of being able to safely leave our doors unlocked are long gone. Also if somebody's out of electricity how likely is it that they'd have so few friends or family that they'd need to resort to knocking on a stranger's door? it is possible but it is far from likely. 16. I'm sorry but if being conned out of ?1 to ?5 by some pathetic woman causes such a lasting damage to your psyche that you are still whingeing about it three years later - then all I can say is lucky you to have had such a trauma-free life that something so trivial is of so much significance to you. Oh and take some responsibility while you're at it: I think we all know that in this day and age it is downright stupid to open our doors to total strangers - especially those who are behaving oddly. That said, I've fallen victim to these sorts of con artists from time to time over the years. But so what? It effect on my life overall is negligible and I can actually laugh at the fact I've been "had" and try not to be so stupid in future. The person whose father was knifed by some nutter scam artist is a whole other story and I was appalled by what happened to her father. But those of you who were naive enough to give this con artist a few pound coins when she pitched her silly story at you - get over it already!! Find something more meaningful to get your knickers in a twist about.

  19. As long as these scammers aren't violent or frightening they really don't bother me. I don't mind throwing the occasional fiver their way at all.
