  1. What I've noticed in the past when I've made a prediction and then the game has later been postponed, is that the rearranged game appears with the original prediction, which can be amended up to the new kick-off time as per normal...
  2. When the Owen Patterson scandal broke, I believe it gained a lot of 'cut-through' because the Tories couldn't tag Brexit onto the scandal. Likewise the latest Partygate scandals. For a while, Brexit has been the Tories silver bullet, aided and abetted by Remain friendly parties not co-operating. What's eye-opening about this result is that NS is VERY Brexity, yet the Tories were unable to tap into that sentiment anymore. Once you take away Brexit, the Tories, and Johnson in particular, flounder...

  5. What seph said, you can criticise the perceived privatisation of the NHS without knocking the staff...
  6. It's one of the safest Tory seats, so if it did go to the Lib Dems then it could well be the final nail. Even if Johnson does go, there's no one of much merit to take over, I mean, Liz Truss is one of the favourites, gawd help us!...
  7. By my reckoning, 6 out of 8 players got the correct score last night!...
  8. So, the bloke in charge of No.10 communications, and presumably behind the PM's line ''There was no party'' for the past week, turns out to have been at the party handing out awards to the assembled staff. The sheer, utter contempt they have for the truth and the public is off the scale...

  11. This from a year ago, and some of the responses, hold up pretty well I think As does this from two years ago to the day, the crux being if people don't care about being lied to, they'll continue to do it... /forum/read.php?20,2076809,2082607#msg-2082607

  14. The lies just keep on coming... In May the PM told Lord Geidt that he did not know who was behind No11 flat refurb until Feb 2021 Today the Electoral Commission says Boris Johnson Whatsapped Lord Brownlow in November 2020 asking for more cash for the No11 refurb
  15. He?s our very own Trump isn?t he, and he?s not finished yet. Like the GOP the Tory party is wilfully enabling him for its own desperate need to survive. I doubt a sizeable number of Tory voters will buy into the lies to the extent GOP supporters have. The number of Republican voters that still believe the election was stolen is scary. The Tory party will have no qualms about dumping Johnson once he's seen as an electoral liability, and he's getting closer and closer to that point. There were some Tory MPs who wanted him gone not long after the election, having served his purpose to 'Get Brexit done' but knowing he wasn't fit for office long-term...
