  2. monica Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Well they do in all honesty they look like > Pyjamas, and I would ask her to leave if she were > in my store, not appropiate. Are you serious? They are stripey, that's all! And she's covered up...she's even wearing earrings. I think in this instance Tescos are being a little mean. Never had you down as a prude though...well I'll be... Mind you, those slippers have seen better days... My jim jams are a > track suit with a lovely little logo on my gluteus > maximus.>:D< Don't you also have a tatoo on your gluteus maximus?
  3. monica Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > MMM what's occuring here then It's dead quiet tonight...only hang-over ridden saddoes like me here...and those who watch programmes like Jeremy Kyle, oh and not forgetting those who forage in Sainsburys and patronise Lidl;-) I'm taking it easy today...had friends round last night...so feel a bit fragile... Did you see the you-tube clips above of the pigs? I thought they were funny. But seriously, do you think that Elaine Carmody was inappropriately dressed? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1246722/Cover-No-shopping-PJs-barefoot-Tesco-tells-shoppers-supermarket-unveil-dress-code.html
  4. Bluerevolution Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I've put her forward to Jeremy Kyle ! Ummm, I don't know. She looks pretty harmless to me...not the type to lash out with fits of head-butting. But there and again, do you suppose those earrings might double up as nifty martial arts weapon?
  5. Bluerevolution Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm not even going to ask how you found those so > quickly *collapses laughing* >but I found them strangely erotic ! More erotic than Elaine Carmody shopping in her pyjamas? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1246722/Cover-No-shopping-PJs-barefoot-Tesco-tells-shoppers-supermarket-unveil-dress-code.html What amuses me the most about this picture is that she bothered to put her earings on!!

  7. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/jan/27/tories-party-privilege-inequality-labour Can anything be done about this? What does this say about the present Government? Should the Government do anything about it? Oh dear, so many questions.

How do you view patrons of Lidl and - heaven forbid - Netto, pray tell? *resists urge to laugh further*

  10. Roll Deep Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There's a 'no tennis shoes' policy in Waitrose. If you can afford to shop at Waitrose Roll Deep, then your pockets must be quite deep! ;-) I can't afford to shop in Waitrose so this ruling wouldn't apply to the likes of me. But seriously, what exactly constitutes "tennis shoes" I wonder? Are we talking trainers in general? Oooh so many questions.
  11. But at the end of the day, I suppose Tescos are within their right to impose a dress code...it's their store...if we don't like it we can vote with our (bare) feet. It's not as though this is a freedom of dress issue being imposed by a "nanny" state. Night clubs etc. have been imposing dress codes for years.
  12. KalamityKel Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think I'd have to disagree with that... With what KK...the research that we run better in bare feet or the theory that an establishment could be challenged under Health and Safety regulations? BTW, can't you sleep either?
  13. Huguenot Wrote: I prefer "he made profits off > the back of dead children, a tactic manifest in > purveyors of snake oil". Oh here we go again...what is it with you and snake oil anyway? *shakes head and laughs despite herself*
