That, to me, is quite shocking. > One third of male prisoners are sex offenders. > One third of male-perpetrated sex offences involve > underage victims. The last 2, whilst still shocking, do not surprise me at all.

It couldn't have been that bad...after all, you can actually remember when blocks of ice-cream contained a pistachio flavour. Whereas I cannot recall what I ate for breakfast this morning...

Wish I could help you TRB...I feel like a 10-year old most of the time!

As HAL9000 rightly pointed out, abuse occurs in "regular" families, and such abuse (whether it be emotional, physical, psychological or sexual) tends to occur in families where the love for and want of the child are manifestly lacking. I wish the couple all the best, though it won't be easy - too many people with too many prejudices in my most humble opinion.

In fact twas a simple mistake on my part - I meant to post on the "climate change" thread...the point being that one is able to grow chillis outside more readily in the UK. But chillis and chocolate do go very well together...just ask any descendant of the Aztecs. As for Cadbury's...I'm sorry, but I've never considered that stuff to be chocolate.

  22. Yes...and I can vouch for those yummy little orange-chocolate-thingies at the end. So more-ish!
