I believe yours said "NOW SORTED" so it was > taken off, sorry if it caused an issue. no...not an issue at all...I didn't know "the process"...just wondered...thanks for getting back. Merry Christmas xx PS: who are you? *grins*
  3. Well my pond and birdbath are frozen solid...lots of thirsty little birds hopping and sliding about wondering what to do...so I have to keep smashing the ice in the pond with a mallet and pouring boiling water on the birdbath...no wonder I can't get warm! But so long as the little birds are alright eh?! Brrrhhhh. *runs back inside*

Oh, and while I'm here (sorry Admin.)...but...(*laughs*)...please could you tell me why three of my threads were recently removed from the wanted section? I am not too bothered as they were removed after lots of lovely forumites had come to the rescue with their suggestions etc. However, it would have been nice if the threads had remained merely because they contained final messages of thanks to all the forumites who had taken time to respond. Now I don't know whether they caught them in time, but if they didn't, they must think me an ungrateful old cow!
  5. Blimey...two for the price of one! Many congrats ???? and Mick Mac. Should be a very merry Christmas. Enjoy.

Now to get back on topic...am really looking to meeting Doris the Donkey and who will be pulling her. Should be a fun day out for everyone...except for those who want to go shopping that is...

E.g. at present the list shows: but...again, to quote the much more succinct KK... E.g. at present the genuine last post is shown thus: So, the true position of last post at 7:08pm by Ladymuck contrasts with what is noted as last post on the thread list (6:44pm by red devil). Hope this helps. Sorry to be so long-winded by the way. And thank you in advance for your assistance.

Yes, as I said...pure extortion. Most of us accept that illegal parking/non-payment of fines incurs fines...but it is the amount of these fines which are - in my view - criminal. Hope you manage to get some of yours back. Let us all know. Good luck.

Yes, that's six hundred and eighty pounds...if that isn't extortionate, then I really don't know what is. Disgraceful.

If it makes you feel any better though, whilst I'm sorry for you (thinking of all the hours you had to work to earn that)... Urrrgggh...my neighbour paid more than ?446...yep...keep guessing everyone...
