  1. The library is right next to Marks & Spencer at East Dulwich Station. Grove Vale is the name of that road.
  2. The new MyChart system is linked to Guys and St Thomas’s as well. When they migrated previous records over, my next of kin was completely wrong with a sole incorrect name and no address or phone contacts. This was despite me checking my details over a month or so previously with a member of staff there. There was also a paucity of information regarding health information. I do feel very sorry for any people who aren’t computer literate/don’t have one. . Not everyone has someone to ask for help. From what I gathered, if no one can help you, then you have to make a specific trip into the hospital to get a member of staff to sit down with you in order to go through a pre-op assessment for example.
  3. Wow, that’s a huge difference!
  4. Looking forward to an update.
  5. Contact some groomers to see if they can help. Many do groom cats and do a very good job. One of my cats loved going to a groomer when I lived in North London and not because of mats. She had a visit there a few times a year and adored it.
  6. I looked on Amazon and the prices were extraordinary. Will check Khan’s and Asda.
  7. No private experience but have you asked to be referred to ENT at Guys Hospital by your GP? I’ve had good experiences there.
  8. Wonder if he could fix a small, countertop oven. I’ve changed the fuse already.
  9. I heard a while back that Crossroads specialises in fish and chips on Fridays. Anyone tried it?
  10. I need them for sprouting and cooking and to be of good quality. Holland & Barrett don’t seem to have any.
  11. Plenty of lentil recipes too.
  12. Why is it interesting and can you post that part?
  13. You & Yours, Radio 4, is currently doing a special phone in on vet fees. Can listen later on catchup on Sounds.
  14. The Budget Bytes (American) website has a lot of vegetarian recipes although it is not solely vegetarian. Bean recipes galore. They are also on Instagram.
  15. Would like to suggest doing a worm count test for your animal, to see if they actually have worms and so you don’t have to load their bodies with poison. A lungworm test (and others) can also be done. Wormcount.com is a lab also used by vets. Raw ground pumpkin seeds can be sprinkled on food to kill worms. There is a lot of info online. I wouldn’t use the pills, collars or drops provided by vets. Bad reactions can be had. Those stupid monthly paid subscriptions is just a way to make money for the vets. There are alternative ways to protect from fleas, but cat fleas are the worst and dogs usually pick up those. There is a lot of info out there re alternative flea treatment methods including essential oil sprays.
  16. Saw opening hours above and it’s good to see they include lunchtimes.
  17. That is horrendous. I presume they also had to contend with law suits from the pupils’ families.
  18. That’s encouraging.
  19. Can you take them to a vet to be scanned for a chip?
  20. I’ve had similar problems re medical letters and have now asked for appointment letters to be sent by text and/or email.
  21. There were some very noisy ones last night about 2130 on Grove Vale.
  22. Does anyone know if this is operating during school holidays?
  23. Day rate is £50.
  24. Are you one of the owners? Is the shop currently closed?
  25. A woman with a young child on back of her bike told me that it was ok for her to ride on the pavement because she had the child on the bike. I said that wasn’t correct and she then told me that the dog I was walking should not be on the pavement.
