  1. Is the one on Forest Hill Road still there?
  2. Have you tried the Urgent Care centre at Guy’s Hospital? I used them once for an eye infection. Also, did you call 111?
  3. Have used them quite a few times. Don’t eat meat so usually order a selection of side dishes including saag aloo/anything saag related/coconut naan/samosas and onion bhajis. Minimum order for delivery is £15.
  4. I also meant to say that on Twitter there is a supportive community, including @drclairetaylor who is based in Scotland.
  5. It took 3 days for me to get a call back after ringing at 8 am 2 weeks ago. I was then given a face to face appointment with one of the group of GPS (not part of TJ Gp surgery) who are to the right of the reception area, for the following week. I presume that was because no TJ GPS were available.
  6. I’m very sad to hear about Karl. I used his services a few times in the past, and he was very helpful. I first met him in the former Jack’s Cafe on Pellatt Road where he used to often have lunch. He was a very kind man. My sympathies to his friends and family.
  7. What great news!
  8. What location is it? They also have a couple of places in Edinburgh. Wish Ole & Steen would have replaced Brickhouse instead of Gail’s arriving.
  9. It might be worth contacting the PALS department at Kings so they can get some answers. They’ve been very helpful to me in the past.
  10. This thread is very important. I have responded to the consultation to say keep the hours as they are, as Southwark obviously won’t be removing the current CPZ.
  11. Thanks for the mention here Sally. I think our white bloomer fits the original poster's needs most closely and we've recently extended our delivery round to include all of East Dulwich. You can sign up here: https://www.coopersbakehouse.com/homedelivery (The first loaf is free and there aren't any delivery charges or setup fees.) Superb Sandwiches, Francis I saw that Peckham Organics in Rye Lane stock your bread so will pop down there and grab a loaf.
  12. Such a great idea! Thank you.
  13. The same GP, Dr. Jonathan Love, who was in charge of Melbourne Grove, also in charge of Tessa Jowell. They also took over another GP surgery before they moved to the new TJ building. They also have the same practice manager, who I don’t have faith in. From what I remember, the practice manager is not solely based at at TJ but also works from a surgery at Camberwell called Parkside. That could have changed since Covid. Not ideal.
  14. There is/was a Lidl in Sydenham. Haven’t been there in a few years though. I’m looking forward to the new Peckham Lidl opening.
  15. Look at advert on page 2 here. Very similar cat.
  16. Are you in the catchment area for both GP surgeries? TJ shrank their previous catchment.
  17. You could contact Dogs on the Streets, a charity who helps homeless people and their dogs. Also, some animal rescue places could be interested.
  18. So sorry to hear what happened. Have you contacted any newspapers or other media about this?
  19. If anyone is thinking of selling in this area, do let me know.
  20. I went there today and a sign said closed until 8th November due to Coronavirus. But on the webpage it says they are opening tomorrow at 930. Does anyone know if the Camberwell branch is open as normal? Or are there any other ones in the area? I can?t call them as I have a First Direct Account, not an HSBC one. Thank you.
  21. I checked if my car was compliant a few years ago and it was. Also rechecked recently and it still is and it?s an older petrol car. There has been a fair but of notice in my opinion.
  22. Thanks for reporting. Did you get any reg no details for the police or even just to check on line, also descriptions if the scammers?
  23. What happened when you were looking for a free dog sitter in 2016?
