  1. Ordered from Mirash earlier this week for the first time. Very enjoyable.
  2. What time(s) is this in effect from and what roads get an exemption if you live in them? I didn’t know anything about this!
  3. I’d like to know if he paid cash for it as he seemingly did for his other recent real estate acquisition. If
  4. That’s great to hear. Does anyone have a tel no or email address for them. If anyone doesn’t know, the dry cleaners on LL next to Post Office, uses them to wash the duvets brought into them for cleaning and just jacks up the price. I used to think they had a washer and dryer in the back.
  5. The London Animal Hospital in Camberwell and the vet practice run by a now retired Australian vet in Shardeloes Road, New Cross, have both been taken over by Medivet. The former was a 24 hour vet but don’t know if it still is.
  6. Am also interested to know if they are still open and able to stay open.
  7. Which vet are you with now? Medivet seem to be taking over many practices as their previous owners retire.
  8. Is it (the Lordship Lane one) definitely closing down as I saw somewhere that it wasn’t.
  9. Which Peckham vet did you use?
  10. The old Terroirs / ToastED spot. Sadly, it won’t be open before Christmas.
  11. I’m presuming that all those twit councillors live in an LTN and have cars. Leeming definitely has a car.
  12. A Detroit Pizza place would be good.
  13. Is the one on Forest Hill Road still there?
  14. Have you tried the Urgent Care centre at Guy’s Hospital? I used them once for an eye infection. Also, did you call 111?
  15. Have used them quite a few times. Don’t eat meat so usually order a selection of side dishes including saag aloo/anything saag related/coconut naan/samosas and onion bhajis. Minimum order for delivery is £15.
  16. I also meant to say that on Twitter there is a supportive community, including @drclairetaylor who is based in Scotland.
  17. It took 3 days for me to get a call back after ringing at 8 am 2 weeks ago. I was then given a face to face appointment with one of the group of GPS (not part of TJ Gp surgery) who are to the right of the reception area, for the following week. I presume that was because no TJ GPS were available.
  18. I’m very sad to hear about Karl. I used his services a few times in the past, and he was very helpful. I first met him in the former Jack’s Cafe on Pellatt Road where he used to often have lunch. He was a very kind man. My sympathies to his friends and family.
  19. What great news!
  20. What location is it? They also have a couple of places in Edinburgh. Wish Ole & Steen would have replaced Brickhouse instead of Gail’s arriving.
  21. It might be worth contacting the PALS department at Kings so they can get some answers. They’ve been very helpful to me in the past.
  22. This thread is very important. I have responded to the consultation to say keep the hours as they are, as Southwark obviously won’t be removing the current CPZ.
  23. Thanks for the mention here Sally. I think our white bloomer fits the original poster's needs most closely and we've recently extended our delivery round to include all of East Dulwich. You can sign up here: https://www.coopersbakehouse.com/homedelivery (The first loaf is free and there aren't any delivery charges or setup fees.) Superb Sandwiches, Francis I saw that Peckham Organics in Rye Lane stock your bread so will pop down there and grab a loaf.
  24. Such a great idea! Thank you.
