    Seems strange to have two Lidl’s in the same Road. Wonder what happened to the replacement Aldi.

    I used to go to the Aldi in the Old Kent Road and then pop along to the Lidl further down the road. The Aldi was closed down pre Covid supposedly due to a new development being built which was supposed to include a new Aldi. I have been to the Aldi in Anerley and it was fine.

    I would really like to just buy some bagels without the filling. Wonder if that’s likely.

    Saw a new bagel place on Rye Lane advertised. Think it opened in January. Anyone tried?

    Yes, what did you order? I’ve ordered from there twice, once they messed up the order but delivered what they’d missed out. Everything was vegetarian.

    Any experience of Sternhall Lane GP surgery? I saw on their website that you can book appointments up to 4 weeks in advance, and do it by phone.or online by e-consult. They are accepting new patients.

    Did you eat the chicken from the first two purchases? Did they smell before going into the oven? I’d definitely speak to the shop and also speak to Environmental Health at Lambeth - I think that is the borough that butcher is in. Hopefully ArchieCarlos will do the same.

    I have ordered from them and they do free delivery within a certain radius. Have only had some of their vegetarian dishes which were all good including the onion bhajis that come with a very tasty spicy green sauce accompaniment. Also, they start service from 1230 pm if you want lunch.

    I’d call environmental services and/or ask the switchboard for an email address for them. Put them in your front garden for them to collect.

    I’d do this but I too am without a cat. I hope you find someone. Maybe put some leaflets through neighbours’ doors.

    Bumping this up - Has anyone else had this problem? I was gobsmacked when a person at TJ who answered the telephone told me this. So you eventually get through if you are ‘lucky’ enough and you need a hospital referral and are told that this can only be done one a Monday or a Thursday! WTH!!!

    The CQC report, published last Octobe, says TJGP requires overall improvement. I have not yet read the whole report. Under the section on the TJGP site which names the staff, starting off with the GPs, it states Male after the first three and then after that no other staff member has their sex mentioned. Very odd.

    Less than ten years ago, one could just ring the surgery on the day in the morning to hopefully get an appointment for that day or the following day. It was also possible to book into the future for appts with Graham, the osteopath or with Dr. Johnson who did the dry needling acupuncture. Same with nurse appts. It all changed during Covid, the surgery moved into the new premises and morphed into Tessa Jowell and never returned to how it was.

    According to the NV website, they have a total of 19 veterinary surgeons across their three practices. This includes Suzanne, who is one of the co-founders.

    I checked their site and Golam Morshed is down as the Practice Business Manager. Cigdem Korkmaz has Complaints Department after her name, so send her a copy of your complaint too.

    I think she is the assistant practice manager unless Golam Morshed left. Really unacceptable. Send her an email back, expressing your displeasure at not having received a reply and ask for an immediate face to face meeting. Take someone with you.
