not sure what talent he had to begin with, other than being a pretty boy who could hold a tune that Louis Walsh fancied.

Last report I read said the police wanted to speak to him, but then I'm not slavishly or ghoulishly following all the news regarding this man's death. I reckon he'd had a heavy night of it though. All that scrabble can take it out of a chap.

The Bulgarian bloke's done a runner though hasn't he? Somewhat suspect.
  4. I thought the dresses were marginally better this week and Linda had to go, she was rubbish.

honestly, mountain out of a molehill or what?
  6. There's one near the picture gallery on for just under ?5million at the moment. It's really groovy.
  7. Surely the owner could be prosecuted? Cruelty to animals is a punishable offence and setting one's dog onto a cat must be seen as that. I don't see how the police can't do anything.
  8. Just realised I've got a Dualit kettle, it's quite good as kettles go I suppose.
  9. Pixies past me by in '89 sadly, I was popping pills and dancing in fields. However, Ian mcCulloch tried to get off with me when I was about 15 and I had just dropped a soup bowl down his back. I knocked him back.
  10. sll form and no function if you ask me (obviously I haven't got one)
  11. I spent time in India as a child and when I came back got called a paki. Interesting as I didn't go to Pakistan, nor am I a Pakistani, I'm white. Silly, ignorant childish behaviour (by children).
  12. I spent some of my childhood in the countryside in Scotland and some of it in London (and some of it in various other places inbetween which we won't go into now). As Sean says there are pros and cons to both. I am bringing both my kids up in London at the moment and they're doing all right thanks very much. They are lucky in that we regularly ferry them to the countryside for some enforced fresh air and yomping which I am well aware many inner city kids don't experience but it's not so bad growing up here. Let's face it, if you bring them up in the country they'll bugger off and move to London as soon as they can and then you'll never see the little darlings except at Christmas maybe. Also, small country towns have big drink and drug cultures 'cos there aint nothing else to do.
  13. We are still waiting for several things from beginning to mid-September
  14. I thought Lynda should have gone over Ravi personally. This series is decidedly lack-lustre and the dresses are frigging awful. It had better improve or it might lose me. I can't even enjoy the awfulness of some of them, I'm not into it for the humiliation factor.
  15. I have to admit to not realising it was a forum drinks, I thought it was just a happy conincidence that so many forumites were there until the penny dropped (duh). Was decidedly worse for wear yesterday.
  16. Stalker or looking for her accountancy services? How are we to know?
  17. they charge to get in though Jah, a fiver when I went some years ago.
  18. Usually the best one is Brockwell Park, Lambeth blows the budget better than Southwark.
  19. As an aside but related to the above post: I have the idea that if a driveway is empty and it's a house rather than flats, you are within your rights to park across the drive. So, he can't be 'guarding' his driveway.
  20. okay, that's almost the same as Mark's map, 'cept for where I go straight down Whitehorse.
  21. I've just done it this morning as it happens. It took me 25 mins to get there and 25 back. After Crystal Palace follow Church Rd to the lights, Right onto Beulah hill then immediate left down Grange Rd, all the way down onto Whitehorse Rd, right at a big junction onto Windmill Rd all the way down to Sumner Rd, brings you out on Mitcham Rd just at the big roundabout onto Purley Way. Very little traffic and pretty much straight all the way.
  22. They ditched Martina because she couldn't dance.
  23. Much better show this week. last chap v good, Ricky from Hollyoaks I believe, bird from Primeval good too, and I thought Natalie Cassidy put on a good show. I love it. I have to say I don't watch that much telly but this is something that I watch with a smile on my face all the way through - unless I'm cringing.

  25. If they are big hairy ones I put them outside as Mr Asset doesn't like them. I've got a few little ones I keep in the sitting room to catch the fruit flies.
