  4. heard that before Keef!
  5. Brendan - is that supposed to rhyme? EDIT - sorry didn't see next page it was bound to cause a ruck
  6. Maybe the St Christopher's shop redistributes what you give them to other branches
  7. but actually who gives a f4ck? [had to do it]
  8. thought to himself 'what bad luck' [we try to keep them forum/ED specific]
  9. see, I think it is normal.
  10. Even though I am not a Tory sympathiser, I quite like Bumbling Boris in a weird kind of way. Not sure how effective he would be as a mayor though. He does say he'd get rid of bendy buses although I doubt that would happen in reality. Isn't Ken trying to re-classify ED as 'urban' rather than 'suburban' which would have an effect on the kind of things that can be built?
  11. Ken is a shyster.
  12. then to the dog
  13. no, that one was a coincidence
  14. you like a good layer don't you fnar fnar.
  15. to cook the books
  16. I used to work at Porky's Mastering on Shaftesbury Avenue. It was a very in-demand mastering studio amongst certain music genres and artists would request specific engineers to do the mastering; it's not just the machinery it is the engineer's ears as well.
  17. Alan, you obviously have not been to the Dog on a Friday afternoon when all us youngsters are there, eh Jah?.
  18. it's easy with any old cow
  19. I like the Dog because it is closest to me and usually I can find a bunch of reprobates in the afternoon to have a drink with (although saying that I haven't been for a few months). I want to go to the Gowlett's lucky 7s night and spin a few.
  20. hahaha. no Brendan, I cleverly ascertained from an informative site on the intraweb that it was to do with the numberlock key which I had inadvertantly switched on.
  21. bashing it back and forth is fine with me. it is several years since I bashed a shuttlecock.
  22. I've still got a turntable andloads of vinyl. bought an ipod a few years ago and used it so infrequently the battery is stuffed. I didn't realise you have to run it down and charge it up regularly for it to keep working at optimum. I am thinking about uploading some of my choicer vinyl bits to the audacity software and then putting it onto an ipod for convenience. whaddaya think? I'm sure there is something in itunes to sort the levels out.
  23. Do you keep score or just bash it back and forth?
  24. you'll be thrilled to know I've sorted it. Normal service is resumed.
