I'm not drinking wine monday - thursday (I have a small bottle of beer to kill the craving). I've stuck to it so far this year and find I'm sleeping better. I'm not an alcoholic - just a dipsomaniac.

Jeez, don't joke about calling in the social services. It can be distressing listening to children crying, especially if you don't know the reason. Maybe it would be worth keeping a diary for a week. Are you out all day at work? If you are, you can't say they scream all the time as you are not there all the time. If after a week of diary keeping you feel there is real cause for concern, then approach the parents first. My friend had social services called on her when she was doing 'controlled crying' to get her young child to sleep at night and it is not a pleasant experience.

Didn't somebody mention further up the thread that a takeaway fish supper cost ?4. Seems to be comparable (f not cheaper) to most other chippies and not ridiculously expensive as some are suggesting. If you want to sit in and have a different piece of fish then expect to pay a bit more. Lousia - change the record, you are talking out of your behind as usual.

I've been saying that since my son was born in 1996. Still here and it's looking like I'm not going anywhere at the mo'. ho hum.
