Presume you’re referring to the majority of a self-selecting sample whipped up by Richard Aldwinkle/One Dulwich to respond to a consultation. This is not the same as ‘the majority of people’. You must accept that? Most people (in fact, the majority) aren’t motivated to respond, which would suggest they don’t have strong views either way.

Always with the excuses for poor driving…the earlier photos of bad parking have nothing to do with CPZs and everything to do with inconsiderate drivers.

Perhaps Sainsburys could repurpose just a small % of the high number of car parking spaces for hire E-bikes. It’s clearly an increasingly popular way to travel.

Dodgy parking by drivers is a real problem, which existed long before the CPZ, despite you previously stating there were no problems before. It’s a good thing that Southwark is tackling it.

100% behind this. It’s a disgrace that so many people’s bus journeys are delayed because of parked cars blocking the bus lane.

To be fair, the holes had mostly been filled yesterday and it looks as though they will be resurfacing today. It’s less than 2 years since there were repairs at the same place, hopefully this time it will last longer! -
Don’t believe everything you hear - the Greek restaurant on Melbourne Grove was converted into residential many years before the road was changed and I’m pretty sure the secondhand clothes shop is still there. There’s also what appears to be lots of new thriving businesses - Art K looks like it’s very popular, as well as the new Reformer Pilates studio. The coffee shop, Nido and Drop Dulwich are great additions too.

East Dulwich Grove is currently closed to a Thames Water leak also, with diversions for the 37 and 42. -

I’d expect there to be road re-surfacing given how badly the water leak has broken up the road surface.

Completely agree, and if I'm going to use my limited time and energy to draw attention to this issue I'll focus on the biggest and heaviest vehicles which can do the most significant damage. Obvs

Regardless of what hit it (clearly something very heavy) I think we can all agree they shouldn't be driving their vehicle onto the pavement and that by doing so it's dangerous.

More driver damage on East Dulwich Grove, especially worrying how it’s on the pavement but even more so next to the pedestrian crossing outside Charter East School.

Off topic much? Back to the topic of this thread, the new permanent version of Dulwich Square was looking lovely in the sun today. Lots of people seemed to be enjoying spending time there, nice to see!
